Job Description

  • We are on the lookout for a skilled Product manager to join our innovative team aiming to make a mark in a $50B+ industry. This role is pivotal in shaping the demand and delivering competitive product offerings for Clickatell. Positioned within the Product Organization and reporting tthe VP of Interact Product and Pricing, you will spearhead initiatives testablish competitive and profitable pricing strategies essential for the growth, adoption, and scalability of our product portfolio.
  • The Product Manager is a pivotal role within Clickatell, responsible for owning the product and its roadmap and ensuring the successful definition, development, and delivery of our products. This role demands a balance between innovation, technology, business acumen, and leadership tdrive product excellence in a competitive landscape.

Key Responsibilities

  • Business Case Development: Craft and support business cases, presenting them tmanagement and executive teams tsecure roadmap and launch approvals.
  • Product Delivery Leadership: Manage product release cycles in close collaboration with the engineering team, ensuring rapid and accurate feature deployment.
  • Documentation and Process Design: Develop comprehensive Business & Product Requirements, Operational Processes, and other essential product documentation in partnership with cross-functional teams.
  • Product Lifecycle Profit & Loss Management: Actively manage the P&L across various product stages, optimizing for profitability and growth.
  • Brand Advocacy and Market Research: Represent Clickatell across various forums, establishing relationships with customer executives and decision-makers. Partner with marketing tconduct thorough market research tunderstand customer behaviors, market trends, and competitive positioning.
  • Documentation Management: Own the design of product requirements and subsequent successful delivery of the requirements
  • The role will be expected tdraft and position the client facing documentation with the help of the technical writer.
  • Strategic Product Roadmap Development: Own and continuously refine the product roadmap, ensuring alignment with Clickatell's strategic goals and market opportunities.
  • Priority Management and Decision Making: Make critical decisions on priorities and trade-offs tbalance time, resources, and the evolving needs of the business and its customers.
  • Market and Competitive Analysis: Collaborate with Marketing and Sales teams tdeeply analyze operational markets, identify customer needs, and conceptualize new product features and services.
  • Backlog Management: Enhance, groom, and maintain the product backlog with input from stakeholders, prioritizing for maximum value delivery.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration and Communication: Design and implement effective handoff processes with key stakeholders; maintain clear, scheduled, and ad-hoc reporting on product metrics and performance indicators.
  • Product Positioning and Go-to-Market Strategy: Work closely with Product Marketing, Sales, and leadership tdevelop compelling product positioning, pricing, and go-to-market strategies.

Requirements 

  • Domain knowledge in delivering products & services tcontact centre environments, including business analysis and process management for adopting contact centre solutions.
  • Understanding of industry best practices for world-class client contact across various channels and reporting and analytics tmeasure the success of client engagement.
  • Experience with 3rd party systems integration.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Engineering or a Business degree/diploma (e.g., BBA, MBA, Business Analysis certification).
  • 8-10 years' experience as a product manager, product owner, or technical lead in mobile/SaaS software applications, including demonstrated experience managing end-to-end software product lifecycles.
  • Experience building and managing a product roadmap, with a proven ability tmanage multiple projects – including prioritization, planning, and task delegation.
  • Ability testablish and improve processes and drive implementation.
  • Experience in reviewing and analyzing software industry data and integrating capabilities in Software as a Service (SaaS/CPaaS).
  • Curiosity, creativity, courage, and a champion for the company and our customers, with strong problem-solving skills.
  • A customer-centric mindset with a proven track record of developing products that meet and exceed user needs.
  • Strong analytical skills and advanced analysis skills, with the ability tproduce detailed user stories and comprehensive product requirements.
  • A keen interest in user experience and intuitive design.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced technical software development environment, practicing Agile (Scrum) methodologies, SDLC, and Sprints.
  • Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, and presentation), capable of presenting in front of an audience.
  • Experience in market analysis, research, performing product demonstrations at trade shows/online seminars, and being recognized as an industry influencer.
  • Deep B2B domain understanding with experience presenting products tlarge enterprises.
