Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced and accomplished Senior Litigator to join our prestigious law firm.
The ideal candidate will possess extensive courtroom experience, exceptional legal acumen, and a proven track record of successfully managing complex litigation cases from inception through trial and appeal.
The Senior Litigator will provide strategic legal counsel, mentor junior attorneys, and play a pivotal role in shaping the firm's litigation practice.

Key Responsibilities
Case Management:

Lead and manage complex litigation cases, including commercial, civil, and criminal matters.
Develop and implement case strategies, conduct thorough legal research, and draft pleadings, motions, and briefs.
Represent clients in court, including pre-trial hearings, trials, and appellate arguments.
Negotiate settlements and alternative dispute resolutions.

Team Leadership:

Mentor and supervise junior attorneys and legal staff, providing guidance and support in case preparation and litigation techniques.
Foster a collaborative and inclusive team environment.
Conduct training sessions and workshops to enhance the litigation skills of the legal team.

Business Development:

Contribute to the firm’s business development efforts by identifying and pursuing new client opportunities.
Participate in networking events, industry conferences, and professional associations to enhance the firm's visibility and reputation.
Assist in developing marketing strategies and materials to attract new clients.

Client Relations:

Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing expert legal advice and maintaining strong client relationships.
Conduct client consultations, assess legal issues, and develop case plans aligned with clients' objectives.
Communicate case progress and outcomes effectively to clients.

Compliance and Ethics:

Ensure all legal activities comply with applicable laws, regulations, and professional standards.
Uphold the highest standards of professional ethics and integrity in all dealings.

Qualifications
Education:

Juris Doctor (JD) Degree from an accredited law school.
Admission to the state bar and in good standing.

Experience:

Minimum of 10-15 years of litigation experience, with a significant portion in a senior or lead role.
Proven track record of successfully handling complex litigation cases from start to finish.
Experience in a specific area of law (e.g., corporate, commercial, intellectual property, criminal) is preferred.
