Job Description

The Senior Data Analyst will be responsible for analyzing complex data sets, identifying trends, and providing actionable insights that contribute to the strategic decision-making process.
The successful candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive data-driven initiatives and contribute to the growth and success of our company.
Identify data quality issues, perform data cleansing, and work closely with the data engineering team to ensure data integrity and accuracy.
Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in data analysis and visualization, and apply them to improve data analysis processes and techniques.
Communicate complex analytical concepts and findings to non-technical stakeholders through clear and compelling visualizations, reports, and presentations.
Mentor and provide guidance to junior data analysts, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.
Ensure compliance with data governance and security policies, and adhere to regulatory requirements related to data privacy and protection.
Collect, analyze, and interpret large and complex data sets using statistical techniques and data visualization tools to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
Develop and maintain data models, dashboards, and reports that provide meaningful insights to stakeholders across the organization.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product development, marketing, and operations, to identify business needs and develop data-driven solutions.
Design and execute experiments to test hypotheses and validate assumptions, using appropriate statistical methods and tools.
Provide strategic recommendations based on data analysis, forecasting, and predictive modeling to support business decision-making and drive performance improvement.

Requirements

Candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field. A Master's Degree is a plus.
Minimum of 4 years of experience in a data analyst or similar role, with a proven track record of delivering data-driven insights and solutions.
Strong business acumen, with the ability to understand and translate business requirements into data analysis and reporting solutions.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines.
Strong proficiency in data analysis tools such as SQL, Python, R, or similar programming languages. Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is highly desirable.
Advance data analytics skills using Microsoft Excel.
In-depth knowledge of statistical analysis methods, predictive modeling, and data mining techniques.
Experience with data manipulation, data cleaning, and data transformation processes.
Familiarity with data warehousing concepts, data modeling, and database management systems.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and provide actionable insights from complex data sets.
