Job Title: Security Supervisor
Location: Lagos
Job Description
The Security Supervisor will manage various aspects of the security department, monitor security equipment, supervise other security staff, like the security guards, assembling, documenting abnormal occurrences on a job site, and train security teams.
Responsibilities
- Establish schedules for providing patrol services.
- Identify resource needs; review guards needs with appropriate management staff and allocate resources accordingly.
- Participate in the selection of patrol staff; staff training and work with employees to correct deficiencies and implement discipline procedures.
- Assist in development of security policies, procedures, standards, and directives, and in communicating these in written and verbal presentations.
- Check and confirm all stocks moving out of the facility and participate in the monthly and weekly stock counts.
- Prepares analytical and statistical reports on operations and activities, including weekly stock / inventory reports.
- Responds to inquiries and investigates and resolves security related problems.
- Prioritize, assign, supervise and review the work of staff responsible for patrol services.
- Recommend and assist in the implementation of goals and objectives; implement approved policies and procedures.
Requirements
- First degree or equivalent in Social Sciences.
- Formal training in Security Management will be an added advantage.
Experience:
- At least 4 years experience in security forces (military, police, security service)
- Experience in a supervisory role desirable
