Job Description
Position Overview:
- The Hotel Sales Executive is responsible for driving sales and revenue growth for the hotel through proactive sales efforts and building strong relationships with clients.
- This position plays a crucial role in attracting new business and maximizing revenue opportunities within the hotel's target market segments.
- The Hotel Sales Executive works closely with the sales team, hotel management, and other departments to achieve sales targets and deliver exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Strategy and Target Achievement:
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and maximize market penetration.
- Identify potential clients and target markets, and proactively pursue sales opportunities.
- Regularly analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities and adjust sales strategies accordingly.
Client Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to foster loyalty and generate repeat business.
- Actively prospect and develop new client relationships to expand the hotel's customer base.
- Conduct regular client visits, participate in industry events, and network with key decision-makers to promote the hotel's offerings.
Sales Presentations and Negotiations:
- Prepare and deliver persuasive sales presentations to potential clients, showcasing the hotel's unique features, services, and benefits.
- Negotiate and finalize sales contracts, ensuring mutually beneficial terms for both the hotel and the client.
- Collaborate with other hotel departments to create customized proposals and packages that meet clients' specific needs and requirements.
Revenue Optimization:
- Monitor and analyze sales performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions to achieve revenue targets.
- Maintain a comprehensive knowledge of the hotel's products, services, pricing, and special promotions to effectively upsell and cross-sell to clients.
- Provide regular sales reports, forecasts, and market insights to the hotel management team.
Team Collaboration:
- Collaborate with the sales team, revenue management, marketing, and other hotel departments to ensure a coordinated approach in achieving sales goals.
- Participate in regular sales meetings, providing updates on sales activities, market trends, and client feedback.
- Coordinate with the operations team to ensure seamless execution of sales agreements and exceptional customer experiences.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor's Degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 2+ years relevant work experience.
- Proficient in using sales management software and CRM systems.
- Flexibility to travel for client meetings and industry events as required.
- Proven experience in hotel sales or a similar sales role within the hospitality industry.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain client relationships.
- Results-driven mindset with a focus on achieving sales targets.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Salary
N100,000 - N200,000 Monthly.
