Job Summary

  • We are seeking a Sales Analyst to join our team and play a critical role in enhancing sales performance and strategic decision-making through advanced data analysis.
  • The Sales Analyst will be responsible for analyzing sales data and trends, generating detailed reports, and providing strategic insights to optimize sales operations across the country.
  • This role involves working closely with the sales leadership team to ensure that business decisions are informed by accurate and timely sales data.

Key Responsibilities
Sales Data Analysis:

  • Analyze national sales data to identify key trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards to track sales performance against targets and KPIs.
  • Provide real-time data insights to the sales team and management for decision-making.
  • Conduct in-depth market and competitor data analysis to support sales strategies.

Reporting & Forecasting:

  • Prepare daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales reports for senior management.
  • Assist in developing sales forecasts and setting performance benchmarks for the sales team.
  • Present data findings and recommendations in a clear and actionable format.
  • Automate report generation processes to improve efficiency.

Performance Monitoring:

  • Track individual and team sales performance, comparing actual results against targets.
  • Collaborate with sales managers to identify performance gaps and recommend corrective actions.
  • Analyze the effectiveness of promotions, discounts, and other sales initiatives.

Collaboration:

  • Support cross-functional teams by providing relevant sales insights for product launches, promotional campaigns, and market expansions.
  • Assist in the implementation and optimization of sales force automation tools

Key Requirements
Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Statistics, or a related field.

Experience:

  • 4+ years of experience as a Sales Analyst, Business Analyst, or in a similar analytical role.
  • Proven experience in managing large datasets and creating meaningful sales reports.
  • Experience in the FMCG or cosmetics industry is a plus.

Skills:

  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills* are required, including the use of pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros, and data modeling.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in reporting.
  • Ability to communicate complex data insights clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Knowledge of the cosmetics or FMCG industry is a plus.
  • Strong proficiency with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) and CRM platforms.
  • Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills.

Other Requirements:

  • Strong project management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Knowledge of statistical software is an added advantage.
