Job Overview

  • We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales manager to join our team at Skipper Green. The Sales Officer will be responsible for coordinating and managing some aspects of solar sales including sales to FMCG Companies. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales, with excellent organizational and communication skills.

Job Description
Sales Strategy Development:

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to drive revenue growth and achieve sales of Solar Products in targets in the FMCG sector.
  • Analyze market trends, consumer behavior, and competitor activities to identify opportunities for sales growth.

Team Management:

  • Recruit, train, and manage a high-performing sales team to effectively execute sales strategies.
  • Provide coaching, mentorship, and performance feedback to sales representatives to ensure individual and team success.

Key Account Management:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, distributors, and retailers to drive sales and distribution of Skipper Green Solar products.
  • Negotiate pricing, promotions, and trade terms with key accounts to maximize sales opportunities and profitability.

Market Expansion:

  • Identify new business opportunities and potential markets for Skipper Green Solar products through market research and analysis.
  • Develop and execute market expansion strategies to grow the company's presence and market share in new territories.

Customer Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, distributors, and other stakeholders to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Address customer inquiries, concerns, and feedback in a timely and professional manner to enhance the customer experience.

Sales Forecasting and Planning:

  • Develop sales forecasts and budgets based on market trends, historical data, and sales pipeline analysis.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams such as marketing, supply chain, and finance to ensure alignment of sales plans with overall business objectives.

Sales Operations:

  • Oversee sales operations including order management, inventory control, and sales reporting to ensure efficient and effective sales processes.
  • Monitor sales performance metrics and KPIs to track progress towards sales targets and identify areas for improvement.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.An 
  • MBA is a plus.
  • Excellent negotiation and presentation skills.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales data and market trends.
  • Proficiency in sales management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
  • Proven experience as a Sales Manager in the industry, with a track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Salary
N500,000 - N1,000,000 monthly.
