Job Title: Restaurant Manager

Location: Lekki Phase 1, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

  • We are looking for an effective and efficient restaurant manager to oversee and further coordinate restaurant activities. The ideal candidate should have managerial skills, interpersonal and teamwork skills, excellent communicative skills, and problem-solving skills amongst others.

Job Description

  • Coordinate daily Front of the House and Back of the House restaurant operations.
  • Deliver superior service and maximize customer satisfaction.
  • Promote the brand in the local community through word-of-mouth and restaurant events
  • Recommend ways to reach a broader audience (e.g. discounts and social media ads)
  • Train new and current employees on proper customer service practices
  • Implement policies and protocols that will maintain future restaurant operations
  • Coordinating daily restaurant management operations.
  • Keep accurate records for all inventory
  • Ensure stock is reordered on time to reduce out of stock
  • Reduce the incidence of theft, pilfering etc.
  • Respond efficiently and accurately to customer complaints.
  • Regularly review product quality and research new vendors.
  • Organize and supervise shifts.
  • Appraise staff performance and provide feedback to improve productivity
  • Estimate future needs for goods, kitchen utensils and cleaning products
  • Ensure compliance with sanitation, health and safety regulations
  • Manage the restaurant’s good image and suggest ways to improve it
  • Control operational costs and identify measures to cut waste
  • Create detailed reports on weekly, monthly and annual revenues and expenses

Requirements

  • Interested candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree in relevant fields
  • 2-3 years as in restaurant management or a similar role.
  • Understanding of financial principles and budgeting.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
  • Proven track record of achieving financial targets and delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of restaurant operations, including food and beverage service, health and safety standards, and inventory management.

Salary
N100,000 - N120,000 monthly.
