Job Descriptions
- We are seeking a Content Associate - a driven, focused individual, to curate and manage content for STEM Education in Nigeria.
- re:learn is an open living lab focused on helping schools apply technology to enhance learning. At re:learn, our aim is to accelerate the process of increased access, and quality of education.
- We achieve this by identifying innovative ways of using technology to bridge the education gap in Nigeria. Our primary focus is on two key areas: addressing the skills shortage through the re:learn Educator’s Network, and the curation of engaging STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) content to improve learning outcomes in and out of schools.
- With over 27,000 students reached in the past 5 years, operating as CcHUB’s education unit, we’re excited to expand that reach and create even more impact across the country.
- As Content Associate, you understand that content is king, and programmes are only as good as the content. You have a strong interest in education and technology, with the unique skill set to fit this role.
Responsibilities
- Curate STEM content for re:learn’s range of in-school and out-of-school programmes
- Work closely with the Learning Development Manager to design curriculums according to programme specifications.
- Develop standardised processes for content curation cycle: including identification, evaluation and deployment phases.
- Conduct regular reviews and update of content to ensure all content is relevant and up-to-date
- Maintain a pulse on industry standards, and changes in the Edtech space, with the ability to reflect new changes in content as necessary
- Be able to identify and maintain partnerships with third-party providers and key industry players
Qualifications
- 1-3 years of working experience
- Good research and analytical skills, with the ability to pay attention to detail
- Able to work independently, and under minimal supervision
- Ability to communicate ideas and plans clearly and effectively

Job Title: Monitoring & Evaluation Officer
Location: Lagos, Nigeria
Job Type: Full-time
Job Description
- The Monitoring and Evaluation Officer will provide comprehensive management of the project monitoring and evaluation system for all relearn’s education programs and will be required to work closely with team and volunteers to coordinate data collection and monitoring efforts.
- The Monitoring and Evaluation Officer will design or adapt tools for data collection and will be responsible for implementing the monitoring and evaluation activities. Our preferred candidate is one who is both knowledgeable and passionate about education and technology, who also understands how to use technology to advance the learning process in educational institutions.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate all aspects of programme monitoring and reporting ensuring data is of high quality and produced on time.
- Monitor all project activities and progress towards achieving the project output.
- Collate reports and feedback from project to form evaluations.
- Coordinate the monitoring of programs to access program performance, relevance and effectiveness
- Present findings in a variety of engaging and clear ways.
- Coordinate the delivery of monitoring, evaluation and learning reporting requirements.
- Adhere to all relevant legal regulations, industry standards and Organizational policies
- Prepare all required reports and maintain a comprehensive set of records on all activities.
- Carry out other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Education:
- Bachelor's level degree or Masters required, in Social Sciences, such as statistics, public policy, economics or a related field, and/or specialized training/certification in monitoring & evaluation.
Work Experience:
- At least three years of progressively responsible experience in the monitoring & evaluation of international development projects, preferably in education-related field; related experience can include strategic planning and performance measurement, indicator selection, quantitative and qualitative data collection and analysis methodologies, database management, and impact evaluation (less experience can be combined with an advanced degree in statistics, public policy, economics or related field).
- Knowledge of reporting requirements would be an asset, including experience designing and implementing performance monitoring plans (PMPs), and rigorous impact evaluation design.
- Understanding of EMIS systems and databases/data collection.
- Experience measuring institutional capacity, preferably in the education sector
- Basic knowledge of education issues in Nigeria is a distinct asset.
Skills:
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in English required.
- Proficiency in word processing, spreadsheet (preferably Microsoft Access and Excel), and presentation software (Microsoft) as well as other database and statistical applications (SPSS, SAS or STATA).
