Job Title: Forklift Operator

Location: Ikoyi, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Description

  • Accountable for the safe and efficient operation of the vehicle and may also be required to performOrder Filler and Checker duties.
  • Unload inbound shipments safely and move product to storage locations.
  • Efficiently stacking and storing all items in the appropriate areas.
  • Ensure inbound and outbound shipments are accurate and free of damage and report qualityissues.
  • Pull and prepare items for shipment to other parts of the base where needed, ensuring thatthe exact number and type of product is loaded and shipped.
  • Efficiently move product from staging and/or storage areas into areas where required.
  • Load, unload, move, stack, and stage product and materials using a very narrow aisle forklift.
  • Maintain the facility’s equipment and materials in a neat, clean, and orderly manner.
  • On a daily basis, inspect and perform minor maintenance on the forklift.
  • Operate all equipment in a safe and efficient manner following prescribed work methods.
  • Assist in physical inventories, ensure proper stock rotation, safety, sanitation and security.

Requirements

  • OND, SSCE / GCE / NECO qualification.
  • 5 - 10 years Experience.

 

 

Job Title: Cook

Location: Ikoyi, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook nutritious and appetizing meals following pre-set menus.
  • Arranging and presenting food in the most attractive, appetizing, and appealing manner.
  • Assist in preparing and cooking meat, poultry, fish, vegetables, and pastry items.
  • Help to receive and execute food orders, meals.
  • Helps in setting up buffets and salad bar.
  • To ensure the kitchen is maintained to a high level.
  • To set up the mise en place necessary for meal periods according to menu/function sheet.
  • To prepare food items according to the standard recipes.
  • To minimize waste of all food items.
  • To work in any section of the kitchen when necessary or as request by the Chef.
  • To maintain a high standard of personal appearance and hygiene at all times.
  • To perform side duties as instructed by the Head Cook
  • To abide by the Food Safety regulations in terms of color-coded tools and use.

Requirements

  • Candidates should possess OND qualification
  • 5 - 7 years experience.

 

 

Job Title: Crane Operator

Location: Ikoyi, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

  • Knowing the machine well. The operator must understand its functions and limitations as well asits particular operating characteristics.
  • Have a thorough knowledge of the information contained in the crane's operating manual.
  • Being familiar with the crane's load chart. The operator must understand the correct meaning of allnotes and warnings and be able to calculate or determine the crane's actual net capacity for everypossible configuration of the machine.
  • Inspecting and maintaining the crane regularly as prescribed by both the owner and manufacturer.
  • Informing the owner of any problems, needed maintenance, or necessary repairs to the machine.This should be done in writing, preferably in the machine's logbook or inspection report.
  • Recording in the log or report the details of all inspections, maintenance, and other work done onthe crane while in the field.
  • Supervising and training the apprentice if one is present.
  • Being aware of any site conditions that could affect the crane operation. Be particularly cautiousaround powerlines.

Requirements

  • HND, NCE, OND, SSCE / GCE / NECO qualification.
  • 5 - 10 years Experience.

Job Title: HR & Admin Officer

Location: Ikoyi, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with and support HR Management for the provision of services to the company;
  • Assist in the work activities of department and staff relating to employment, compensation, labour relations, and employee relations;
  • Maintains and updates records and statistical reports concerning personnel-related data such as hires, transfers, performance appraisals and absenteeism rates;
  • Assist in identifying staff vacancies, recruiting, interview and selection of applicants;
  • Implement workplace practices to ensure compliance with SOP’s/policy and provide recommendations for improvement to management;
  • Assist in staffing controls including such as refereeing disputes and disciplinary processes;
  • Control and maintain inventory for department and other business units in supply of stationery, water, refreshments and other general support supplies for different divisions.
  • Assist with executive assistance including minute taking, appointments, travel arrangements, protocol management, booking of meeting/board room, typing services and filing.

Requirements
Education and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or other relevant degrees
  • NYSC Certificate or exemption letter

Experience:

  • Approximately 2 years within HR or Administrative management with a large national/multi-national organization;
  • Experience of a high paced business environment delivering successful HR support;
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office especially Microsoft Word and Excel.
