Adold Engineering Company Limited is an Engineering and Construction Development Company incorporated in 1976. We are registered under category ‘D’ (Major Contracts) with the Federal Ministry of Petroleum (DPR), PHCN and other various corporate organisations. We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Head of Accounts Location: Lagos Key Responsibilities

• Manage all accounting operations including invoicing, A/R, A/P, GL, Inventory Accounting, Provision, Accruals and Revenue Recognition.
• Ensure the accuracy of the organization’s financial results and reports
• Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls
• In-depth financial analysis and providing expert financial perspective and opinions.
• Asses risk, analyze efficiency and inform policy decisions made by executive management.
• Payroll processing.
• Monthly review of general ledgers.
• Coordinate and direct the preparation of the budget and cash flow management and report variances.
• Prepare monthly and annual management reports.
• Analyzing cash flow, cost controls, and expenses to guide business leaders
• File monthly and annual reports with appropriate government agencies.
• Coordinate month and year-end close process.
• Ensuring records systems are maintained in accordance with generally accepted auditing standards.
• Coordinate statutory audit.
• Attend to tax audit and query.

Requirements

• B.Sc or HND in Accountancy or related discipline from a recognized University or Polytechnic
• Associate membership of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria a must.
• Certified Public Accountant or the like from internationally recognized accounting body.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in a reputable organization
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Proficiency in accounting software.
