  • The Accounts Officer will process all financial transactions, reconcile accounts and prepare data/reports.
  • This post involves inward/outward invoicing, including payment progression. Significant relevant experience of general financial duties is essential.
  • To ensure proper and timely valuation of monthly stock counts, preparation of variance report and Budget monitoring.
Key Responsibilities
  • Processing data through the sales and purchase ledgers from the point of receipt of the invoice to completion of the transaction.
  • Reconciliation of Bank Statement with Payment Voucher, purchase and sales ledgers.
  • Processing financial transactions through Sage and other accounting applications.
  • Determining the Costs of Performances, Functions and Activities in a manner which Facilitates Analysis and Valid Comparisons with Established Criteria among time Periods.
  • Monthly stock Valuation, Stock taking, Stock reconciliation, Budget monitoring.
  • Preparation of Monthly Financial Statement and Inter-branch Accounts Reconciliation.
Qualifications The ideal candidate should:
  • Have BSc/HND in Accounting, or Statistics
  • Have at least 1 year cognate experience, fresh school leavers with relevant professional certification (ACA, ACCA) can also apply.
  • Be able to take initiatives and work with little supervision.
  • Be Attentive with a keen eyes for details
  • Have the wherewithal to work in a fast-paced and pressured environment.
  • Must be computer literate. With commendable use of Standard Office Applications, Microsoft Operating System, and Accounting Applications such as SAGE:-Peachtree, Quick book, Daceasy etc

  • The internal auditor will work in account and finance department and will be responsible for reviewing the company's financial reporting systems and policies and ensure the financial reports are accurate, complete and in accordance with local, national and federal audit requirements and standards.
Main Responsibilities
  • Build a strong compliance environment to ensure zero level of policy, procedures and regulatory infractions.
  • Collating, checking and analyzing stock items
  • Examining company re-occurring and non-re-occurring expenditures and financial control systems
  • Gauging levels of financial risk within organisation
  • Ensuring sales reports and records are accurate and reliable
  • Identifying faulty processes and procedures and give advice on adjustments
  • Preparing audit reports and commentaries.
  • Liaising with managerial staff and presenting findings and recommendations
  • Ensuring procedures, policies, legislation and regulations are correctly followed and complied wi
  • Reviews and verifications of wages, and other benefit where necessary
  • Inspect account books and accounting systems for efficiency, effectiveness, and use of accepted accounting procedures to record transactions.
  • Examine and evaluate financial and information systems, recommending controls to ensure system reliability and data integrity.
  • Ensure prompt and effective call over of branch transactions.
  • Build strong awareness on all policy and procedures issues; zero tolerance for open GL Items, un-reviewed transactions and income leakages
Qualifications
  • Degree in Accounting or Finance
  • 1-2 years cognate experience, fresh school leavers with ACCA, ACA or ICAN can also apply
  • High Integrity, utmost confidentiality level
  • Good numeracy and analytical skills

  • Oversees and administers the operations of a store. Receives, identifies and verifies merchandise. Provides information to and assists customers.
  • Maintains inventory. Uses inventory management software. Prepares purchase requisitions for the replacement of stock.
  • Maintains files appropriate to the activities of the unit, such as invoices, order number, receiving date, shipping date, etc. Prepares reports.
  • Verifies ledgers, statements and supporting documents.
  • Handles and stores merchandise or special products that require some knowledge of spontaneous combustion, toxicity, fragility, rapid deterioration, contamination, etc.
  • According to requirements and established procedures, arranges stock. In case of emergency or in order to replace outdated products, suggests substitutes available in the store.
  • Oversees the delivery of merchandise following an established schedule and coordinates special deliveries by transmitting the necessary details to the persons concerned.
  • Keep records of items shipped, received, or transferred to another location
  • Update procurement team on status of stock to avoid stock-out
  • Maintains equipment and instruments. Ensures cleanliness of work areas.
Qualifications The candidate should possess the following qualities
  • OND from any reputable institution
  • Should have physical strength to carry heavy objects from time to time.
  • Basic computer and report writing skills
  • Should have high sense of integrity
