Job Title: HR Officer

Location: Ajah, Lagos,
Employment Type: Full-time

Details

  • Works with the ED, Corporate Governance and Human Resources, in the formation and rollout of HR initiatives.
  • Works closely with all B.O.S departments, increasingly in a consultancy role, assisting line managers to understand and implement policies and procedures.
  • Liaises with a range of people involved in policy areas such as staff performance and health and safety.
  • Anticipates the corporate climate and oversees the labour market trends in order to assist the CEO in creating and executing strategic plans.
  • Recruits staff, which involves developing job descriptions and person specifications, preparing job adverts, checking application forms, shortlisting, interviewing, and selecting candidates.
  • Develops HR planning strategies, which consider immediate and long-term HR requirements (e.g employee engagement, employee retention, employee satisfaction).
  • Develops and implements policies on issues like working conditions, performance management, equal opportunities, disciplinary procedures, absence management, etc.
  • Negotiates with staff and their representatives (for example, trade union officials) on issues relating to pay and conditions.
  • Administers payroll and maintaining employee records.
  • Interprets and advises on employment law.
  • Deals with grievances and implementing disciplinary procedures.
  • Plans and sometimes delivers training, including new staff inductions.
  • Analyses training needs in conjunction with departmental managers.
  • Plans, organizes, and controls all activities of the department. Participates in developing department goals, objectives, and systems.
  • Maintains knowledge of industry trends and employment legislation and ensures the organization's compliance.
  • With supervision from the ED, CG & HR, implements and annually updates the compensation program; rewrites job descriptions as necessary; analyzes compensation; monitors the performance evaluation program and revises as necessary.
  • Maintains the work structure by updating job requirements and job descriptions for all positions.
  • Recommends and implements personnel policies and procedures; prepares and maintains handbook on policies and procedures; performs benefits administration to include claims resolution, change reporting, approving invoices for payment, annual re-evaluation of policies for cost-effectiveness, information activities program and cash flow.
  • Supervises office administration and ensures smooth operations within the business environment.
  • Establishes and maintains department records and reports. Participates in administrative staff meetings and attends other meetings, such as seminars.
  • Maintains organizational charts and employee directory.
  • Evaluates reports, decisions, and results of department initiatives in relation to established goals.
  • Recommends new approaches, policies, and procedures to effect continual improvements in the efficiency of department and services performed.
  • Ensures compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws.
  • Participates in a wide variety of project-related activities and initiatives

Requirements

  • Interested candidates should possess a degree with 3-5 years work experience.
  • CIPM would be added advantage

Salary

Job Title: Mechanical Design Engineer (Female)

Location: Ajah-Sangotedo, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

  • Design, execute and manages tests to collect statistically significant data to ensure technical specifications and product requirements are met
  • Responsible for mechanical part selection taking into consideration obsolescence, availability, design costs, mechanical products, and systems by developing and testing specifications and methods.
  • Evaluate and confirm mechanical systems and products by conducting research programs and applying principles of mechanics.
  • Construct prototypes, perform physical testing on engineering prototypes, and confirm designs with the CEO
  • Choose and interface with vendors for low cost and high performance.
  • Conform with local, state, and company engineering standards.
  • Design and implement manufacturing and maintenance policies.
  • Use CAD and CAE to design and oversee product blueprints, specifically Solid Works and CREO Software.
  • Writing and documenting reports on Military equipment and engineering records.
  • Work closely with operations, manufacturing, and production engineers to ensure products are designed for manufacture.
  • Develop mechanical products by studying customer requirements; researching and testing manufacturing and assembly methods and materials; and soliciting observations from operators.
  • Develop manufacturing processes by designing and modifying equipment for fabricating, building, assembling, and installing components.
  • Assure system and product quality by designing testing methods; testing finished product and system capabilities, confirming fabrication, assembly, and installation processes.
  • Prepare product reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
  • Maintain product and company reputation by complying with government regulations, industry, and business standards.

Requirements

  • Candidates should possess Bachelor's degree with 2-4 years work experience

Salary
N120,000 - N150,000 / Month

 

 

Job Title: Auto Mechanic (Diesel and Petrol)

Location: Ajah-Sangotedo, Lagos
Employment Type: Contract

Responsibilities

  • Working on diesel and petrol engines
  • Running diagnostic tests on vehicles.
  • Analyzing diagnostic test results.
  • Replacing vehicle engines, steering mechanisms, transmissions, and braking systems.
  • Checking vehicle lighting systems.
  • Test-driving vehicles to gauge performance.
  • Performing preventative maintenance on service trucks.
  • Maintaining detailed records of serviced vehicles.
  • Adhering to an inspection procedure checklist.
  • Maintaining a parts inventory.
  • Ensuring the cleanliness of the work area.
  • Inspect vehicle engine and mechanical/electrical components to diagnose issues accurately
  • Inspect vehicle computer and electronic systems to repair, maintain and upgrade.
  • Conduct routine maintenance work (replacing fluids, lubricating parts etc.) aiming to vehicle functionality and longevity
  • Repair or replace broken or dysfunctional parts and fix issues (e.g. leaks)
  • Provide accurate estimates (cost, time, effort) for a repair or maintenance job
  • Keep logs on work and issues

Qualification and Experience

  • Candidates should possess OND qualification with 2-6 years work experience.

Salary
N80,000 - N100,000 / Month
