Description

  • Develop the strategy for security operations and ensure realization and implementation thereof by managing the security team, in line with the Business Group strategy and applicable regulations and guidelines, in order to ensure personnel protection, optimal asset protection and availability, loss prevention and also to ensure a safe and secure work environment for business activities to thrive.

Responsibilities

  • Formulate and implement the company’s security policies and procedures and contribute to the development of strategy for the Plants/Business Group.
  • Ensure compliance with company and government regulations.
  • Ensures security of FrieslandCampina WAMCO assets.
  • Conduct regular audits of departmental operations.
  • Responds to Internal and External Customer Security Concerns.    
  • Investigate the loss of or damage to the Business property/ equipment.
  • Investigate any form of theft or violation within the Business operating environment.
  • Advise disciplinary and corrective actions for any act of misconduct and violations.
  • Determines employees’ training needs to produce continuous development plans.
  • Conducts performance evaluations in a consistent, fair, and objective manner to encourage continuous performance improvement.
  • Promote security awareness amongst employees.
  • Engagement of competent security service providers.
  • Liaise with Police and other Law Enforcement Agencies.
  • Updates management on security issues.
  • Holds others accountable to established performance levels to achieve individual and group goals.

Requirements

  • Candidates should possess a Degree in any relevant course of study
  • A Master's Degree will be an added advantage
