We are recruiting to fill the position below:

 

Job Title: RDC Assistant Depot Manager

Location: Apapa, Lagos
Job Type: Full time

Purpose of the Job

  • Oversee and coordinate the daily warehousing and logistics activities ensuring effective and efficient warehouse and logistics operations.
  • Implement quality standards for productivity, safety and customer service in achieving the agreed business targets within stipulated timelines.

The Job

  • Plan and optimize truck routes to ensure timely delivery and cost efficiency.
  • Manage all site operations at the depot.
  • Resolve issues or disputes that arise during depot operations and conduct root cause analysis to improve operations.
  • Prepare all relevant deport performance review and present to the leadership team.
  • Coordinate and track RDC replenishment with various dispatch sites.
  • Ensure there is no expiry or write-off of stock by following the FIFO (First In, First Out) stock management technique.
  • Conduct and organize cycle count to ensure 100% inventory accuracy.
  • Supervise depot staff providing leadership support and guidance.
  • Ensure efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular stock checks.

Qualifications

  • B.Sc / HND in Engineering / Business discipline.
  • Highly effective supervisory skills and techniques.
  • Knowledge of warehouse software packages and MS Office proficiency.

Experience:

  • 3-5 years in similar role and capacity.

  • Have the ability to pay keen attention to details and be data driven.
  • Excellent inventory management abilities.
  • Possess interpersonal and stakeholders’ management abilities.
  • Exceptional customer service and organizational abilities.
