Job Title: Radiographer

Location: Abuja (FCT)

Job Description

  • We are seeking a skilled and dynamic Radiographer to join our team.
  • As a Radiographer, you will play a crucial role in our healthcare facility by operating imaging equipment to obtain diagnostic images for medical interpretation.
  • You will work closely with patients, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely imaging services. 
  • Undertake marketing activities to create awareness of the services delivered by the Center. 

Responsibilities

  • Perform diagnostic imaging procedures, including X-rays, CT scans, and ultrasound and ECG. 
  • Prepare patients for imaging procedures by explaining the process, positioning them correctly, and ensuring their comfort and safety

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Radiography from an accredited institution. 
  • Valid license to practice as a Radiographer in Nigeria. 
  • Proven experience working as a Radiographer in a hospital or healthcare setting. 
  • Proficiency in operating various imaging equipment, including X-ray machines, CT scanners, ultrasound machines. 
  • Strong understanding of radiation safety protocols and best practices. 
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with patients and healthcare professionals. 
  • Maintain accurate patient records, including imaging procedures performed, patient histories, and other relevant information. 
  • Adhere to hospital policies and procedures, as well as regulatory guidelines related to radiation safety and patient care. 
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development activities to stay current with advancements in radiography techniques and equipment.
  • Operate and maintain imaging equipment, ensuring proper functionality and safety protocols are followed. 
  • Adjust imaging equipment settings to optimize image quality while minimizing radiation exposure to patients. 
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to review imaging results and provide additional imaging as necessary for accurate diagnosis and treatment planning.
