Overview

  • The Quarry Manager is responsible for the overall management and monitoring of Quarry and crusher operations, as well as the third party contractors in the quarry.

Responsibilities

  • Exploration and evaluation
  • Ground water investigation and water control in the pit
  • Mining design and planning, reserves and deposit life according to plant production, block model evaluation and plan rehabilitation
  • Mining rights and ownership
  • Quarry optimization and cost reduction
  • Operative team supervisors train according to cement plants standard
  • Zero incidence with mobile equipment and the crusher
  • Zero environmental complain from local authorities
  • Ensure involvement in the implementation and maintenance of integrated management system in the plant
  • Overburden removal and contractor control
  • Survey activities on a regular basis of the quarries
  • Implement safety and environment procedure for safe practice
  • PMP on raw materials and CAPEX
  • Cost control and optimization
  • Responsible for people development and personnel training

Education / Qualifications

  • HND / BSc Geology, Mine Engineering or other related courses.

Experience

  • 5-7 years of relevant experience in similar assignment.
