WorleyParsons are potentially recruiting for a Project Manager to work on a large, lump sum project based in Nigeria. This is an excellent opportunity to be involved in one of the world's largest offshore projects. The engineering team will be based in Nigeriaon a rotational assignment, for up to 24 months. Accommodation is provided along with a generous package.
Job RequirementsThe successful candidate must have experience in the below:
- Overseas projects
- Lump sum projects
- New build FPSO
- Detailed design
The following qualification or experience would be preferred:
- Chartered Engineer or equivalent.
- Exposure to large project P and L accountability.
- Planning and budgeting skills.
Listed below are some of the key responsibilities required for this role:
- Manage the tendering process and be able to take project from initiation to closeout.
- To be accountable for all aspects of the WorleyParsons contract. Delivering the project to the satisfaction of the client and WorleyParsons Management team.
- Manage project risk.
- Leading WorleyParsons in co-ordination with other contractors, 3rd parties and client’s partners.
- Able to intepret client goals and objectives and align with WorleyParsons objectives.
- Customer orientated individual.
- Able to work within a team environment with excellent leadership and communication and problem solving skills.
- Must have strong communication skills with Peers and Client and understand the modern EPC work process, including workshare.
- Provide leadership in all areas of Health Safety and Environmental issues.
- Ambassador for WorleyParsons.
- Deliver engineering solutions to meet contract needs.
- Contract and subcontract management.
- JV management where applicable.
- Direction and leadership for all project functions including regulatory matters, procurement, controls, construction and quality.
- Management of change (including negotiation)
