Job Description

  • As a Project Engineer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the efficient planning, coordination, and implementation of construction projects, adhering to the highest standards of quality, safety, and environmental responsibility.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and requirements.
  • Assist in the development of project schedules, timelines, and resource allocation plans.
  • Provide technical expertise during the design phase, offering insights to enhance project efficiency and sustainability.
  • Collaborate with design teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure seamless integration of project components.
  • Liaise with cross-functional teams, including architects, subcontractors, and project managers, to facilitate effective communication and coordination.
  • Prepare progress reports, status updates, and other project-related documentation for management and stakeholders.
  • Facilitate regular meetings to review project progress, address challenges, and brainstorm innovative solutions.
  • Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to the established timeline and budget.
  • Proactively identify and address potential project risks, proposing effective mitigation strategies.
  • Review architectural and engineering plans to ensure feasibility and compliance with regulatory standards and codes.
  • Monitor the availability and delivery of construction materials and equipment to maintain project timelines.
  • Optimize resource utilization, including labor, equipment, and materials, to achieve cost-effectiveness and productivity.
  • Foster a safety-first culture on-site, promoting adherence to safety guidelines and best practices.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to identify potential safety hazards and address issues promptly.

Job Requirements

  • Candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree qualification.
  • 4 - 5 years work experience.

Salary
N150,000 - N180,000 monthly
