Agiville Industries Limited is a manufacturing company based in Mile 2, Lagos that is into the mass production of high-quality plastic environmental waste bins for domestic, commercial, and industrial use.
We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Production Engineer

Description
- Be responsible for financial controls
- Be responsible for financial reporting
- Ensure internal control
- Implement up-to-date reporting standards i.e. IFRS (International Finance Reporting Standard)
- Advice management on prudent utilization of resources with the goal of maximizing the profitability of the company.
- Handle tax management
- Supervise monthly bank reconciliations for all accounts, verify accuracy of bank statements and resolve questions or problems; maintain integrity of cash balance and cash flow system.
- Monitor incoming and outgoing cheques, and maintain a cheque register. Receive cheques and prepare deposit slips. Prepare and post remittance advice for posting cheques received. Update and review aged receivables for unpaid balances. Secure receivables from clients, communicate with customers regarding their billing and assist the Management with collections.
- Maintain general and subsidiary ledgers on all related accounts with proper documentation and records of all the Company’s transactions.
- Review entries to the general and subsidiary ledgers to ensure accuracy and compliance with the Company’s accounting principles and global accounting standards.
- Monitor ongoing sales and services. Receive complete sales/services from the sales department; verify accuracy and completeness of all required information including current pricing, extension, waivers from suppliers, and discounts applied.
- Code sales orders with account numbers by sales /product classifications for the cost of goods sold. Keypunch (post) sales orders and other accounting information into a computerized / digitalized accounting system. Print billing daily and send / deliver to the customer.
- Verify monthly totals of sales, sales history, returns, and allowances. Maintain a cash receipt journal. Coordinate closely with the Accounts Supervisor. See to the remittance of VAT (Value Added Tax) and other statutory taxes in a timely fashion.
- Assist and prepare Trial Balance, profit and loss, Management Reports and similar documents. Assist in monitoring and maintaining the company’s stock / share portfolio.
- Prepare monthly and quarterly profit and loss results for the company.
- Assist in ensuring that all accounting documents are kept updated and in a proper manner. Ensure best practices and procedures are met.
- Prepare the management account of the company
- Supervise the preparation of payroll. Assist in processing and preparing payroll cheques and reports. Remit
- PAYE in a timely fashion, identify and administer appropriate relief per payroll.
- Assist in co-coordinating, preparing year-end audit, preparation of schedules and documents for independent auditors. Also actively assist and monitor stock-taking exercises which are perpetual and quarterly.
Requirements
- Interested candidates should possess BSc with 8 years work experience.
Salary
N300,000 - N400,000 monthly.
