We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Electrical Engineer 

Location: Abuja (FCT)
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

• Design and Maintain Electrical Systems: Develop and maintain electrical systems used in manufacturing processes, such as control panels, power distribution, and automation systems.
• Support Production Equipment: Ensure electrical equipment (motors, sensors, PLCs, HMIs) runs efficiently and reliably with minimal downtime.
• Preventive Maintenance: Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules for electrical equipment.
• Project Management: Lead or support electrical projects, including new installations, upgrades, or process improvements.
• Safety and Compliance: Ensure all electrical systems follow relevant codes and safety regulations (e.g., NEC, OSHA, ISO standards).
• Documentation and Reporting: Create and maintain technical documentation, wiring diagrams, manuals, and maintenance logs.
• Collaboration: Work closely with mechanical engineers, technicians, production managers, and quality teams to ensure smooth operation of manufacturing processes.
• Troubleshooting and Repairs: Diagnose and repair electrical faults in manufacturing equipment and systems quickly to minimize production disruption.
• Automation and Control Systems: Design, program, and maintain automation systems using PLCs, SCADA, and other control technologies.
• Process Optimization: Identify opportunities to improve manufacturing efficiency and reduce energy consumption through electrical improvements.
