Job Title: Procurement Officer

Job Expectation Summary

  • The procurement officer will ensure procurements are conducted in a consistent, transparent and cost-effective manner to avoid fruitless and wasteful expenditures.
  • This office holder shall negotiate with contractors before arriving at a satisfactory amount that saves cost without compromising quality.
  • The procurement officer manages all purchases for the branch, always negotiates with vendors for the best and most favorable rates for the company.
  • The office holder is expected to be honest in all dealings and frugal in transactions on behalf of the company.

Requirements

  • B.Sc Holder in any of the Numerate disciplines
  • 2 - 8 years Experience.

She will be expected to:

  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite
  • Strong numerate skills
  • Organized and accurate recordkeeping skills
  • Proficiency in the use of computers.
  • Resilient and vociferous negotiation skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong critical thinking skills
