We are recruiting to fill the position below:

 

Job Title: Process Safety Engineer

Location: Ikeja, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

  • Support TS Manager to Coordinate all Process Safety services of the company to ensure completeness and quality of the services as rendered to our clients
  • Regularly review templates for all services such as HAZID, HAZOP, QRA, BOWTIE, SIMOPS, RISK ASSESSMENT and other services as may be required within the scope of Process safety services rendered by the company
  • Contribute and participate in technical safety workshops (HAZOP, HAZID, Company technical audits and quality reviews etc.)
  • Work with the HSE team in various Operational HSE case development, Technical Safety Audits, Accident Investigation and other areas as may be directed
  • Document all Technical safety services rendered by the company.
  • Support the CRO in the dissemination of our technical activities on our website to ensure good and adequate publicity through the social media.
  • Review clients’ technical documents submitted for Process Safety Studies in preparation for various workshops
  • Prepare pre-workshop packages required for technical studies workshops
  • Prepare reports as may be required for all workshops and studies carried out for our clients
  • Serve as Scribe for client’s Technical Safety workshops as may be assigned

Engineering:

  • Performs core process design activities, review engineering process documents and carry out technical review of third-party service providers activities as may be required
  • Provides effective and timely response to technical queries
  • Working with colleagues within and outside your disciplines to deliver multidisciplinary projects
  • Participates in site visits during process studies while tracking implementation of site modifications as requested
  • Contributes to HSE investigations as may be directed by the Technical Safety Manager
  • Maintain awareness of and ensure compliance with all relevant Statutory and COMPANY HSE standards on projects
  • Participate in the development of Process Flow diagrams and other relevant technical documents development as may be required by our clients
  • Provide technical support in project supervision to ensure conformity to design standards and codes

Qualifications

  • Interested candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree with 5-10 years experience.
