Prime Services FZE is a major provider of skilled personnel to key players in the Oil and Gas industry. We are now seeking to engage suitably qualified and experienced professionals for immediate employment in the following positions based in Lagos:


Position: Scaffolder Superintendent.
Qualification:

  • SSCE and Trade test grade 1 &2.
Prime Responsibilities:
  • Should have knowledge in the erection and dismantling of most scaffold designs (Cantilever scaffolds, independent scaffold with return and mobile tower, scaffold with pre- fabricated beams and Tower scaffolds) Should have knowledge of safe handling and inspection of scaffold materials with good interpretation of scaffold design drawing.
  • Should have basic knowledge of statutory regulations and safety requirement.
Experience:
  • 8 -10 years minimum, in major Oil & Gas EPC projects, must possess vast Knowledge in the fabrication industry. He must have been a superintendent for 3 years

Position: Electrician
Qualification:
  • B.Sc/HND in Electrical Engineering, OND/Trade Test(s) in Electrical and other Electrical related courses.
Prime Responsibilities:
  • Should have knowledge good knowledge of electrical gadgets and panel connections in various within the company.
  • Should have knowledge of safe handling and inspection of scaffold materials
  • should have basic knowledge of statutory regulations and safety requirements.
Experience:
  • 4 -7 years minimum, in major Oil & Gas projects, must possess vast Knowledge in the Electrical and Electronics equipment handling. He must be a professional electrician.

Position: Scaffolder Supervisor
Qualification:

Position: Crane Foreman
Qualification:
  • S.S.C.E,   N.E.C.O, Trade Test III, Certificate of competency minimum.
Prime Responsibilities:
  • Ability to handle and property manage the equipment/machine.
  • Ability to adhere to instructions from supervisor.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with members of team.
Experience:
  • 8 years minimum, in major Oil & Gas sector as crane foreman.

Position: Accountant (Treasury)
Qualification:
  • B.Sc. Accounting minimum, Membership of relevant professional accounting body an added advantage.
Prime Responsibilities:
  • Ability to handle and properly manage accounts.
  • Providing Treasury support in the finance department.
  • Ability to provide accounts payable support, among others.
  • Ability to adhere to instructions from supervisors and pay attention to details.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with members of team.
Experience:
  • 5 years minimum, in major Oil & Gas sector as Accountant.

Position: PMC Technical Liaison Supervisor
Qualification:
  • Bachelor’s degree minimum.
  • Candidate would be responsible for developing and troubleshooting processes in order to provide effective services to projects and other stakeholders, by monitoring the supply chain from Purchase Order placement up to delivery at final destinations.
Prime Responsibilities:
  • The incumbent should have evident and relevant Computer skills, technical knowledge and operational experience, and an ability to translate technical requirements to peers within the PMC team in meaningful terms.
  • Verification of received equipment and materials against Purchase Order, way bill and packing list
  • Ensure equipment and material Identification (UIDs) are traceable and visible.
Experience:
  • 3-5 years minimum, which must be in an operational project related position. Candidate will have strong technical qualifications and a proven capability to interact with both peers and customers
Software:  Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Project) and Internet Search tools.

Position: Rigger
Qualification:
  • Basic Rigging Certificate minimum.
  • Candidate would be responsible for executing the professional duties of a rigger.
Prime Responsibilities:
  • The incumbent will make sure that gears for a lifting is conveyed to work site; and reporting of any defective rigging gear to foreman.
  • The candidate would also act as a Banksman and sometimes as a spotter by giving signal to the operator.
  • Also responsible for executing the professional duties of a rigger.
Experience:
  • 2-3 years minimum, which must be in practical onshore rigging.

Position: Community Development Manager
Qualification:
  • Bachelor’s degree minimum; Masters’ Degree preferred.
  • Candidate would be responsible for communications, consultations, as well as planning, and managing programmes (groups of related projects) that are meant to ensure a mutually beneficial and sustainable relationship between the company and the local communities (population of 20,000).
Prime Responsibilities:
  • Lead the creation of long term development plan for all the local communities.
  • Develop specific guidelines for project implementation and project office administration, in order to achieve all of the programme objectives effectively.
  • Prepare reports and documents as required, including weekly, quarterly  and   annual   progress  reports,  outcome/impact monitoring reports, technical assessments, monthly delivery and financial status summary, inventory status report, bulletins, and others.
Experience:
  • 5 years minimum, 3 of which must be in community development and/or community capacity building management role working with local communities. PMP orPrince2 Certification preferred
Software:
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook PowerPoint and Project), MS Project and Internet Search tools

Position: Community Project Coordinator
Qualification:
  • Bachelor’s degree minimum.
  • Candidate would be responsible for communications and consultations with the communities as well as day-to-day project management to ensure timely project delivery.
Prime Responsibilities:
  • Prepare regular updates for each of the projects.
  • Communicate all milestone achievements (or delays) to the Community Development Manager.
  • Ensure that community development projects are completed on time and on budget.
  • Aid in Preparing reports and documents as required, including weekly, quarterly and annual progress reports, outcome/impact monitoring reports, technical assessments, monthly delivery and financial status summary, inventory status report, bulletins, and others.
Experience:
  • 2 years minimum, which must be in project coordination rote in local communities. PMP or Prince2 Certification preferred.
Software:
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Project), MS Project and Internet Search tools.

Position: Mechanical Fitter
Qualification:
  • Relevant trade test(s) and SSCE. Higher qualifications are added advantages.
Prime Responsibilities:
  • Perfect understanding of torgue values and torque range.
  • Ability to use all fabrication /Fitting equipment and instrument Awareness of safety rules and standard of the industry.
Experience:
  • 3 years minimum working experience in the steel fabrication field.
Position: CNC Machine Operators
Qualification:
  • Relevant trade test(s) and SSCE. Higher qualifications are added advantages.
Prime Responsibilities:
  • Ability to operate CNC oxy- fuel cutting machines, profiling machines.
  • Ability to take instructions and perform daily activities as required with little or no supervision.
  • Awareness of safety rules and standard of the industry.
Experience:
  • 4 years minimum working experience in steel fabrication field.

Position: Pipe Fitter Foreman
Qualification:
  • B.Eng. in Mechanical or Metallurgical Engineering or relevant trade test(s). OND and SSCE.
  • Computer literacy is compulsory
Prime Responsibilities:
  • Ability to understand and interpret simple and complex pipe fabrication drawing.
  • Ability to use all fabrication /Fitting equipment and instrument Awareness  of safety  rules  and   standard   of the  industry
Experience:
  • 4 years minimum working experience in the fabrication field and must have been a foreman for a years.
Position: Pipe Fitter Superintendent
Qualification:
  • B.Eng. in Mechanical or Metallurgical Engineering or relevant trade test(s), OND and SSCE Computer literacy is compulsory.

  • Ability to understand and interpret simple and complex pipe fabrication drawing.

Experience:
  • 7 years minimum working experience in the fabrication field and must have been a superintendent for 2 years.

Position: Pipe Fitter Supervisor
Qualification:
  • B.Eng. in Mechanical or Metallurgical Engineering or relevant trade test(s), OND and SSCE. Computer literacy is compulsory.
Prime Responsibilities:
  • Ability to understand and interpret simple and complex pipe fabrication drawing.
  • Ability to use all fabrication /Fitting equipment and instrument Awareness of safety rules  and  standard  of the  industry.
Experience:
  • 5 years minimum working experience in the fabrication field and must have been a supervisor for a years.
Position: Rigger Supervisor
Qualification:
  • Must have an authentic certificate from a certified body, LEEA, JCI or its equivalent as minimum.
Prime Responsibilities:
  • Must be able to determine the angle of any lift
  • Ability to calculate the weight of a load and good knowledge of lifting plan.
  • Ability to prepare Job Safety analysis (JSA); among other duties.
  • Good reporting skills.
Experience:
  • 7-10 years minimum, in major Oil & Gas projects, must possess vast Knowledge in fabrication.

Position: Truck Driver
Qualification:
  • S.S.C.E., N.E.C.O. Valid Driver’s License. Certificate of competency minimum
Prime Responsibilities:
  • Ability   to   handle   and   properly   manage   trucks/machine.
  • Ability to drive.
  • Ability to understand, interpret, and obey traffic instructions.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English.
Experience: 5-10 years minimum, in major Oil & Gas sector as truck driver.

Position: Mobile Crane Operator
Qualification:
  • S.S.C.E, N.E.C.O, Certificate of competency minimum.
Prime Responsibilities:
  • Ability to handle and property manage the equipment/machine.
  • Ability to adhere to instructions. Ability to communicate effectively.
Experience:
  • 5 years minimum, in major Oil & Gas sector as mobile crane operator.

Position: 6G Flux Core Welder
Qualification:
  • Trade test 1 & 2 in practical welding.
Prime Responsibilities:
  • Ability to weld all position of welding such as 3G, 4G, 6G on SMAW/FCAW on both plate and pipe.
  • Ability to identify weld process and weld defect.
  • Good work conduct and good awareness of industry safety rules and standard.
Experience:
  • 5- 7 years steel fabrication experience in major Oil & Gas EPC projects, Awareness of safety rules and standard of the industry.

Position: 6GR Stick Welder
Qualification:
  • Trade test 1 & 2 in practical welding.
Prime Responsibilities:
  • Ability to weld all position of welding such as 3G, 4G, 6G on SMAW on both plate and pipe.
  • Ability to identify weld process and weld defect.
  • Good work conduct and good awareness of industry safety rules and standard.
Experience:
  • 5- 7 years steel fabrication experience in major Oil & Gas EPC projects, Awareness of safety rules and standard of the industry.

Position: 3G/4G Flux Core Welder
Qualification:
  • Trade test 1 & 2 in practical welding.
Prime Responsibilities:
  • Ability to weld basic position of welding such as 1G, 2G, 3G & 4G on SMAW/FCAW on plate.
  • Ability to identify weld process and weld defect.
  • Good work conduct and good awareness of industry safety rules and standard.
Experience:
  • 5- 7 years steel fabrication experience in major Oil & Gas EPC projects, Awareness of safety rules and standard of the industry

Position: Structural Fitter Superintendent
Qualification:
  • B.Eng. in Mechanical or Metallurgical Engineering or relevant trade test(s) and SSCE. Computer literacy is compulsory.
Prime Responsibilities:
  • Ability to understand and interpret simple and complex structural fabrication drawing.
  • Ability to use all fabrication /Fitting equipment and instrument Awareness of safety rules and standard of the industry.
Experience:
  • 7 years minimum working experience in the fabrication field and must have been a superintendent for 2 years.

Position: Crane Operator Superintendent
Qualification:
  • OND/City-Guild (Intermediate), Trade Test It & III, Certificate of Competency minimum qualification.
Prime Responsibilities:
  • Ability to supervise the workforce on site.
  • Ability to manage the equipment/machine.
  • Excellent communication skills.
Experience:
  • 15 years minimum, operating crane in major Oil & Gas must possess vast Knowledge of MS Office Application.
Position: Fixed Crane Operator
Qualification:
  • S.S.C.E, N.E.C.O, Certificate of competency minimum.
Prime Responsibilities:
  • Ability to handle and properly manage the equipment/machine
  • Ability to adhere to instructions from supervisor.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and work as a team with others.
Experience:
  • 5 years minimum, in major Oil & Gas sector as fixed crane operator.

Position: Spray Painter
Qualification:
S.S.C.E, N.E.C.O, Trade Test, Certificate of competency minimum.
Prime Responsibilities:
  • To  carry  out  instructions  as  delegated  by  you  superiors.
  • To ensure that you are aware of the basic hazards pertaining to your job/task.
  • To be held responsible at all times as a tradesman for the quality of work delivered.
  • To maintain and apply acceptable norms in the execution of your duties being obedient at all times.
Experience:
  • 5 years minimum, in major Oil & Gas sector as a professional Spray painter.

Position: Fork Lift Operator
Qualification:
  • S.S.C.E, N.E.C.O, Valid Driver’s License, Certificate of competency minimum.
Prime Responsibilities:
  • Ability to handle and properly manage the equipment/machine.
  • Ability to adhere to laid down instructions.
  • Ability to communicate effectively.
Experience:
  • 5 years minimum, in major Oil & Gas sector as fork lift operator.

Position: Crane Supervisor
Qualification:
  • OND/City-Guild (Intermediate), Trade Test It & III, Certificate of Competency minimum qualification.
Prime Responsibilities:
  • Ability to supervise the workforce on site.
  • Ability  to  properly  handle  and  supervise  people  on  the equipment/machine.
  • Ability to report all activities on site to the H.O.D.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English.
Experience:
  • 10 years minimum, as a crane operator in major Oil & Gas sector, must possess vast Knowledge of MS Office Application.


Position: CNC Fitter
Qualification:
  • Relevant Trade test(s) and SSCE, Computer Literacy. Higher qualifications are added advantages.
Prime Responsibilities:
  • Ability to operate CNC oxy-fuel cutting machines, profiling machines and other CNC machines.
  • Ability to take instructions and perform daily activities as required with little or no supervision.
  • Ensure that all members of your team are safety conscious and work under the company’s safety regulations.
Experience:
  • 4 years minimum, in steel fabrication fields in the Oil & Gas industry.

Position: Welding Superintendent
Qualification:
  • B.Eng. in any Engineering discipline, Trade test 1 & 2 in practical welding.
Prime Responsibilities:
  • Ability to weld all process of welding; SMAW, FCAW, GTAW etc.
  • Maintain single line communication with Client on all matters relating to the project.
  • Ability to assign task to his subordinates on a daily bases with good report writing skills.
Experience: 10-20 years steel fabrication experience in major Oil & Gas EPC projects, Awareness of safety rules and standard of the industry.


Position: 6GR Flux Core Welder
Qualification:
  • Trade test 1 & 2 in Practical Welding.
Prime Responsibilities:
  • Ability to weld all position of welding such as 3G. 4G, 60 & 6GR on SMAW/FCAW on both plate and pipe.
  • Ability   to   identify   weld   process   and   weld   defect.
  • Good work conduct and good awareness of industry safety rules and standard.
Experience:
  • 5- 7 years steel fabrication experience in major Oil & Gas EPC projects, Awareness of safety rules and standard of the industry.

  • Ability to report effectively to his superior/higher authority of any case of defective gears.
  • Ability to calculate weight of load and lifting angles.
Experience:
  • 5 years minimum, in major Oil & Gas Company as a rigging foreman.

Position: Grit Blaster Foreman
Qualification:
  • Trade  Test Certificate,  Certificate of Competency minimum qualification.
Prime Responsibilities:
  • Ensuring that you go about your work in the correct level of PPE and that your work environment is safe
  • Obeying work and safety instructions.
  • Follow up on the progress and completion of tasks delegated to you by your team leader.
  • To report all faulty equipment and ensure that necessary actions are taken to replace/fix such equipment.
Experience:
  • 5 years minimum, in major Oil & Gas company, must possess vast Knowledge as a professional Grit Blaster.

Position: Scaffolder
Qualification:

Position: Marine Engineer
Qualification:
  • B.Eng. in any Engineering discipline.
  • Qualified marine engineering apprenticeship
  • Factory trained on outboards, diesel, outdrives and general boat systems including electrical, water and hydraulic systems Knowledge of Fiberglass repairs. Experience with small craft up to 15mtrs. Boat handling skills not imperative, however yacht – master or ICC is of benefit.
Prime Responsibilities:
  • Supervise the Nigerian marine mechanics, issuing jobs, training and overseeing their work
  • To assist the management team in the Completion of their duties by offering possible technical solutions to in house technical problems and services.
  • Assist the marine services business from start to finish ensuring that correct processes are used and standards maintained and enforced at all times.
  • In   depth   Knowledge  of small   boat  repair and  production techniques.
Experience:
  • 5 years minimum, in major Oil & Gas projects.

Position: Structural Fitter
Qualification:
  • Relevant trade test(s) and SSCE. Higher qualifications are added advantages.
Prime Responsibilities:
  • Ability to understand and interpret simple and complex structural fabrication drawing.
  • Ability to use all fabrication /Fitting equipment and instrument Awareness of  safety  rules  and  standard  of the  industry.
Experience:
  • 3 years minimum working experience in the fabrication field.
