Job Title: Operations Executive - Downstream Oil & Gas

Job Summary

  • As an operations executive, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operations of our business.

Responsibilities
Your primary responsibilities will include:

Product Delivery Schedule:

  • Ensure timely product deliveries to customers/vendors at the depot.
  • Minimize stock loss during product deliveries.

Documentation and Records:

  • Collect and file signed waybills from truck drivers as evidence of product deliveries.
  • Maintain updated records and files of waybills signed by customers/drivers.

Stock Management:

  • Manage stock with vendors efficiently.
  • Perform periodic reconciliation of products lifted and received by customers.

Activities:

  • Visit the depot to assess the product situation and schedule based on customer requests.
  • Dispatch trucks loaded with products to customers/vendors in a timely manner.
  • Prepare reconciliation statements for products sent and received, noting quantity variances.
  • Generate accurate reports of truck movements and deliveries, highlighting any product losses.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory requirements during product loading.
  • Conduct safe-to-load checks on all trucks before product loading.
  • Collate signed waybills from truck drivers and customers as proof of product receipt.

Operational Excellence:

  • Adhere to all policies aimed at improving operations and achieving targets.
  • Promote effective communication and coordination among field staff, drivers, and engineers.
  • Maintain a good filing system for all loading and receiving documents, including waybills and reports.

Accountabilities:

  • Provide weekly reports on liftings and deliveries to customers.
  • Maintain an updated truck movement register.
  • Manage the supplier payment schedule.
  • Compile stock-taking reports from various depots, clients, suppliers, trucks, and drivers.
  • Maintain updated records and files of signed waybills.
  • Prepare monthly/cycle reconciliation statements for product receipts and issues.
  • Summarize products supplied and invoiced to customers.

Requirements

  • HND / Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline is preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office and other relevant software.
  • Willingness to adhere to safety and regulatory requirements.
  • 3 - 5 years of Proven experience in operations within the Downstream Oil & Gas industry.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of the Hausa language is a plus.
  • Ability to perform product reconciliation and documentation effectively.

Salary

  • N250,000 monthly (Gross).
