Job Title: Operations Manager

Purpose of the Role
- The Operations Manager will increase the production capacity by improving performance, overseeing production control and ensuring achievement of production targets.
Responsibilities
- Lead the production team in the forecasting, planning and delivering of product volumes
- Develop new strategies to increase production with safe and cost-efficient methods
- Ensure that adequate safety norms are used by site personnel
- Ensure that the Company Health Safety and Environment (HSE) policy is effectively implemented and that corrective measures are taken in a timely manner
- Operate the oil and gas fields in a profitable and optimal manner
- Develop and manage budgets and operational expenses
- Oversee proposal development bid packages and subcontractor agreements
- Provide cost and risk management
- Build ongoing relationships with key members and functional managers within the organisation
- Manage the commissioning and start-up of new projects and plant modifications to ensure compliance with standards, specifications and contract terms and conditions
- Ensure proper implementation of approved reservoir management and monitoring programs
- Direct the planning and execution of maintenance and major shutdowns and approved plans, tender packages, bid evaluation, and recommend contract awards as appropriate

Qualification & Experience Required
- Degree in Engineering with 15+ years of professional experience
- Oil & Gas industry and management experience
- In-depth knowledge of the various oil and gas field procedures and practices

- Knowledge of production, facilities, completion, and drilling engineering
- Well-developed technical understanding of all phases of a gas producing asset from subsurface to pipelines to processing
- Knowledge of Reservoir, Drilling, Operations and Geology for effective interaction and support of current operations and acquisition review and evaluation
- Commercial experience dealing with domestic and/or international supply contracts
- Excellent communication and Interpersonal skills; adept at Interaction with a variety of contacts, Including peers within a multi-disciplinary team, management, vendors and industry partners.
Job Title: Compression Project Manager

Purpose of the Role
- The Compression Project Manager will provide project management for oil and gas pipeline/facility compression projects in order to complete the assigned scope of work to schedule, safely and within budget.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with a diverse technical and production team across the Company to manage the engineering and design of gas compression project
- Oversee project controls, project plan documents, including scope, schedule and risk management plans
- Ensure that assigned projects are completed safely and in accordance with regulatory requirements
- Interface with the project team, subcontractors and other stakeholders to complete the assigned work within schedule and budget
- Identify and implement improvements in processes and operations to control costs and improve productivity
- Report progress in achieving the required work scope on a regular basis to the Chief Operating Officer and Executive Management
- Capture, analyze and share lessons learned throughout the project
- Lead factory acceptance tests and issue as built documents

Job Title: Drilling Manager

Purpose of the Role
- The Drilling Manager will be the technical authority driving upstream exploration and drilling performance in Nigeria.
- He/ She will provide senior leadership drive and direction to the upstream team responsible for new (- and existing Group wide upstream asset portfolio.
Responsibilities
- Deliver approved upstream work programme and budget based on a 3-5 year outlook
- Manage the activities and performance of all drilling and workover contractors/subcontractors, and employees, through effective supervision and guidance
- Develop, implement and ensure strict financial control of all operating and capital budgets related to upstream operations and authorise expenditure within the Limit of Authority as approved by the chief Operating Officer
- Ensure that the Company’s Health Safety and Environment (HSE) policy is effectively implemented in all areas of work
- Operate at the highest level of business integrity and ethics and set the tone for all direct and indirect reports
- Mentor and develop upstream staff in technical and managerial areas across the Group, to enhance their capabilities
- Manage existing onshore Niger Delta assets and identify potential new material opportunities in the onshore/shallow water space
- Identify ready to drill leads and prospects and develop mature prospect inventory
- Responsible and accountable for:
- Subsurface (Geology and Geophysical, Petroleum Engineering, Production Engineering)
- Well Engineering (Drilling and Completion)
- Project interface & integration (linkage to existing midstream business, gas sales and industrial offtake customers)
- Manage and coordinate upstream operational readiness.
Qualifications & Experience Required
- Degree in Petroleum Engineering or any other Engineering degree, as well as relevant professional qualifications
- Solid background in Upstream and Oil Field Development: well performance, well monitoring, drilling, production, maintenance of oil and gas facilities Including exposure to prolific exploration basins/geology
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience in upstream gas and liquids project delivery in the Gulf of Guinea (Nigeria) and globally from an operator and contractor perspective
- Must be experienced in executing world class upstream projects in a community/sensitive terrain
- Be a tenacious, hands-on team player, equally comfortable in the field as well as dealing with senior internal and external regulatory and community stakeholders
- Have proven influencing, communication and leaderships skills.
Job Title: Principal Process Engineer

Purpose of the Role
- The Principal Process Engineer will provide Process Engineering expertise to aid execution of facilities projects.
Responsibilities
- Perform design work to support project development
- Provide knowledgeable input during the design phases of projects to ensure sound engineering practice is followed by design and construction contractors and that the Company’s standards and specifications are adhered to
- Act as a focal point for the resolution of process engineering inquiries, detailed design to construction and commissioning
- Act as Company representative for the preparation or review of Design Bases, P&lDs, PFDs, etc
- Provide process engineering input to other discipline specialists to assure that design outputs are consistent
- Supervise and check the work of other engineers or those prepared by service providers.
- Act as the Company representative (as required) to ensure that design work by contractors meet the Company’s -standards and relevant industry-codes, in particular, API, ASME, ANSI, NFPA, etc
- Provide engineering calculations for pipeline and crude oil separation and gas treatment systems including line sizing, vessel sizing, hydraulic studies, flow assurance, duty requirements, retention and settlement times, etc
- Monitor the performance of design contractors and suggest remedial actions, where required, to Improve schedule or quality performance
- Participate in HZOP’s and other key design reviews
- Assist company resident or project engineers with process engineering:
- Evaluating technical issues related to preparation of proposals, and evaluation of equipment for adherence to required performance criteria
- Performing process equipment purchasing tasks such as vendor bid enquiry preparation, vendor bid
- Working with manufacturers during fabrication and providing support to field personnel during site checkouts and commissioning of equipment
- Assisting in the resolution of field problems during construction, assessing field recommendations on process change recommendations, and in the implementation of efficient corrections that can reduce operational problems.
Qualifications & Experience Required
- University Degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering with a minimum of 10 years relevant experience in the oil and gas industry
- Good communication skills, detail oriented, and effective team player
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills, able to use process engineering software programs such as Hysys etc
- Exposure to Consultancy FEED/Detailed Design and EPC projects
- Knowledge of Safety and Quality procedures

Job Title: Maintenance Advisor

Purpose of the Role
- The Maintenance Advisor will implement a safe and efficient maintenance plan for all projects -in the Company’s facilities in close liaison with the Maintenance Supervisor.
- Satisfy the technical integrity target and ensure all mechanical equipment are operated within design limit.
Responsibilities
- Plan and execute all maintenance in accordance with Company policy, OEM specifications and statutory requirement
- Work with Production Superintendent in identifying key indicators for any plant turn around maintenance and ensure resources are available for smooth execution
- Fabricate, assemble, or install material / mechanical component according to specifications and evaluate the performance of the equipment
- Perform a variety of mechanical work as a qualified and experienced maintenance personnel
- Examine machines and oversee diagnostic tests to determine functionality problems.
- Design a plan of action for all maintenance tasks and upgrades a Assist the maintenance supervisor to organise, supervise and perform quality control on work performed by maintenance team
- Ensure critical spares are available at all time
- Observe Company safety rules and good housekeeping in accordance with the Company’s operating Mentor and coach peers and subordinates in the execution of maintenance tasks.
- Make recommendations towards resolving recurring plant problems or failures
- Perform skilled repair services of mechanical and basic structural systems and machinery equipment
- Maintain standard health of machinery and equipment and report to supervisor on machinery Inventory
- Maintain design maintenance chart and records for the purpose of reference.
Qualifications & Experience Required
- Higher National Diploma or equivalent qualification
- Requires 5 years of related experience In a similar role.
- Demonstrated skill In maintenance area (mechanical, electrical and Instruments)
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Strong attention to detail with an aptitude for problem-solving
- Must be conversant with PTW system, work order processes and maintenance documentation
- Must have the ability to plan, manage and execute a project or plant modification
- Must have the ability to remain calm under duress and in emergency situations.
