The Nigerian Women Association of Georgia (NWAG), founded in April 2000, is a non-profit (501C3), community-focused, service-oriented organization based in Atlanta, Georgia. Membership is made up of women who are Nigerian by birth or marriage. NWAG’s mission is to serve our local
Atlanta Metro community, and country, Nigeria by empowering, enriching and educating women and the youth, thereby fostering togetherness and excellence in our collective pursuits. NWAG supports organizations whose mission aligns with our mission.
The Nigerian Women Association of Georgia (NWAG) plans to award 37 one-time scholarships, one per state of origin as well as one for the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), in the amount of fifty thousand Naira each, to Nigerian female, undergraduate students in Nigerian universities.
Requirements
An applicant must be a Nigerian female, undergraduate student in a Nigerian University. All
