The Nigerian Society of Engineers is desirous of recruiting qualified personnel to fill the following position below in its operations:

Job Position: Audit Assistant
Location:
Abuja
Responsibilities

  • Report directly to the Head, Internal Auditor Unit.
  • Assist in conducting special investigation and periodic audit of expenses, finances and assets.
  • Monitor all store receipts and issuance, including movable assets within premises.
  • Assist in preparing comprehensive periodic reports to the Executive Committee.
  • Assist in weekly and monthly reconciliation of bank statements Carry out other roles as may be assigned by the Head, Internal Audit Units.
Requirement
  • Minimum of HND (Accounting).
  • 3 years post-qualification experience.
Job Position: Head - Legal Services
Location:
Abuja
Responsibilities
  • Perform legal research on all issues requiring legal opinion and determine implications.
  • Deduce the implication of regulations and legislation on the Society.
  • Provide legal advice on contractual agreements with vendors, service providers and other stakeholders.
  • Ensure that all policies and procedures of the Society are consistent with the guidelines of regulatory bodies.
  • Initiate and respond to legal issues and actions.
  • Keep custody of the Society's Minutes of meetings, Seals and the Register of sealed documents.
  • Carry out other duties assigned by the Executive Secretary.
Requirement
  • LL.B (Hons), BL.
  • 5-7 years post-qualification (Law School) Experience.
  • Working experience in a similar professional organization is an added advantage.
 Job Position: Driver
Location:
Abuja
Responsibilities
  • Drive the assigned Officer.
  • Ensure good working condition of the car.
  • Carry out other logistic duties.
  • Carry out other duties as may be assigned by the designated Officer, staff/department.
Requirement
  • Minimum of SSCE.
  • Possession of OND will be an added advantage.
  • Possession of a valid National Driver's License.
  • Minimum of 3 years professional driving experience.
  • Basic auto mechanic knowledge and proficient knowledge of road signs.
  • Adequate knowledge of Abuja City.
