Job Summary

  • Ensure the implementation of the process review framework and initiatives to drive conformance to business processes whilst ensuring quality delivery throughout the business
Principal Functions
  • Communicate process review reports and identified process gaps to stakeholders and monitor implementation of corrective actions
  • Generate periodic KPI performance reports for strategic processes to provide feedback on process effectiveness and efficiency, gaps and corrective actions
  • Generate periodic performance reports for identified functional processes to provide feedback on process effectiveness and efficiency, gaps and corrective actions
  • Monitor the performance of inter-departmental and vendor SLAs to determine their effectiveness in terms of time and quality of service, analyze root cause of SLA breaches, and recommend improvements
  • Continuously ascertain maturity level of EMTS processes in order to monitor evolution of strategic processes, and share best practices with the organization
  • Facilitate process awareness trainings and design of workshop materials for internal and external customers
  • Establish and manage quality teams for process optimization and operational excellence
  • Conduct periodic and ad-hoc review of Etisalat business processes to determine fitness for purpose
  • Generate process review reports with identified strengths, weaknesses and improvement recommendations
  • Identify and mitigate process bottlenecks in order to realize process efficiency
  • Identify and document realistic process controls for tracking and reporting processes within agreed timelines
  • Support the maintenance of the Quality Management System to promote the organization's competitive edge
  • Carry out other assignments as directed by the Manager, Quality Management.
Educational Requirements
  • First degree in a relevant discipline from a recognised university.

Job Title: Specialist, Nominal Ledger
Location:
Lagos
Job Summary

  • Ensure all assets and liabilities in the general ledger are properly disclosed inaccordance with generally accepted accounting principles, maintain appropriate and consistent financial reports to guide management's decision
Principal Functions
  • Ensure timely analysis of various OPEX accounts to ascertain the correctness of transactions in line with budget andtrends
  • Review and approve journal vouchers and other financial transactions before imputing on ERP system
  • Review relevant general ledger accounts (income statement and balance sheet) forcompleteness
  • Review the age analysis of balance sheet accounts
  • Ensure the amortisation of prepayment accounts , licence fee accounts are correctlycarried out and that supporting documents are appropriately vouched
  • Review general ledger/sub ledge accounts
  • Review monthly transaction and book approved relevant positions into the accounts.
  • Review and approve all accruals booked into ERP based on input from the various department and vendors statements
  • Ensure complete reversal of monthly accruals based on agreed process
  • Establish an effective communication link with user departments to discuss OPEX figuresfor completeness and appropriateness
  • Ensure all signed month end schedules are submitted to the financial reporting unitwithin the agreed timelines
  • Ensure the monthly companywide OPEX and balance sheet report are of high quality and delivered within timeline
  • Ensure completeness and availability of all supporting documents needed by the auditteam to facilitate smooth audit exercise at all times
  • Carry out other duties as instructed by Manager, GL & Reconciliation
Educational Requirements
  • First degree in a relevant discipline from a recognised university
  • Membership of Professional association (CIMA, CFA, ACCA, ICAN,etc)

Job Title: Head, Enterprise Solution
Location:

Job Summary

  • The Head of Enterprise Solutions will be responsible for managing and ensuring the delivery of business results through the management of Fixed and mobile solutions and Service Delivery & Operations.
Principal Functions
Tactical
Leads the following Business Units:

Corporate SolutionsTeam:
  • Research and Development into in-demand solutions and services for enterprisebusinesses.
  • Responsible for full commercialization (concept to launch) of all fixed and mobileenterprise services.
  • Responsible for driving revenue and penetration growth of enterprise services.
  • Lead all cross-functional programs for delivering all enterprise services, beyondregular voice and data product propositions.
Service Delivery Team:
Responsible for Enterprise Service Delivery and Operations Portfolio, covering the following:
  • Pre-Sales & Customer On-boarding
  • Post-Sales Operations - Billing,Payment, Issue Resolution, Service & Order Provisioning for all Enterprise Services
Operational
  • Review and provide input in the development of propositions and business cases for up-to-date innovations in enterprise services and proffer recommendations to the Director, Enterprise Segment.
  • Review the technical implementation plan for all enterprise based services including identified potential barriers and recommended solutions.
  • Coordinate the implementation of all projects related to the development of enterprise based services for EMTS and ensure timely completion/compliance to quality standards.
  • Review all existing and potential product offerings vis-a-vis market research/trends, suggest improvements and proffer recommendations to the Director, Enterprise Segment.
  • Review functional requirements, content, look and feel of all potential enterprise based offerings and proffer recommendations to the Director, Enterprise Segment.
  • Liaise with the Technical and/or IT department to oversee the development of functional platforms for all enterprise based services on the network.
  • Implement the unit's work programs and plans in line with agreed upon procedures and guidelines.
  • Plan and manage the human and material resources of the unit to optimize performance, morale and enhance productivity.
  • Manage inter-functional relations to ensure synergy across the various units within the Products and Services division.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to team members and manage subordinates' performance towards the achievement of overall team objectives.
  • Monitor and control the budgetary needs of the Enterprise Solutions unit.
  • Prepare/compile agreed periodic activity and performance reports for the attention of the Director, Enterprise Segment
  • Perform any other duties as assigned by the Director, Enterprise Segment.
Educational Requirements
  • First degree or equivalent in a relevant discipline.
  • Postgraduate/ professional qualification in a related field will be an added advantage.
Experience, Skills & Competencies
  • Nine (9) to twelve (12) years work experience, with at least three (3) years in a managerial role.
