  • We have an exciting opportunity for a Sales Engineer based in Lagos, Nigeria.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall successful execution of new projects in their African markets, ensuring delivery of budgeted sales, profit margins and sustainable growth.
  • The purpose of the position is to identify and develop formwork sales or hire opportunities in targeted African markets to achieve business goals.
Responsibilities
  • Develop a pipeline of project opportunities in clearly defined target markets through a number of different channels;
  • To meet and exceed financial targets through strong ability to close deals;
  • Responsible to build and manage strategic relationships with external stakeholders including contractors, state utilities, governments in your target market, with the primary objective of achieving Sales or Hire business.
  • Execute new projects to the highest possible standard, ensuring repeat business on upcoming projects;
  • Extensive traveling in Sub-Saharan Africa on a regular basis.
  • In co-operation with the Head of New Business Development, and other relevant parties, secure revenue from potential and targeted projects;
Requirements
  • Minimum Matric;
  • Tertiary qualification in Civil, Business, Economics or a technical field will be an advantage;
  • 5 years sales or technical experience in the formwork of building industry;
  • Will to work in developing markets;
  • Strong financial skills;
  • Ability to identify opportunities and convert them into business.
  • Experience in working in a complex multicultural environment;
