Job Title: Sales Manager (Commercial Trucks)

Location: Apapa-Lagos, Oyo

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement customer strategies and action plans to increase sales of Commercial Trucks.
  • Maintains strong strategic relationships with existing company clients and develops new key contacts.
  • Review market analysis to determine customer needs, volume potential, price schedules, and discount rates, and develop sales campaigns to accommodate strategic goals of the company within budget limitations.
  • Develop monthly and yearly sales forecast by product and customer for the respective customers’ sectors.
  • Identify trends and issues pertaining to customer feedback of implemented sales/marketing initiatives.
  • Provides continued improvement in sales coverage and effectiveness to develop key areas and markets

Qualification and Requirements

  • Candidate must be a BSc. / B.Eng./ HND in Engineering or any Social Science with a minimum of 8+ years cognate sales experience of Commercial Trucks
  • Technical knowledge of automotive and/or heavy truck products and it different applications
  • Must possess strong presentation skills and be able to communicate professionally in written responses to emails.
  • Candidate must have excellent interpersonal skills, entrepreneurial spirit, technical expertise, be a self – starter.
  • Demonstrated track record of landing new business and successful negotiations

Job Title: Logistics Manager

Location: Apapa, Lagos

Responsibilities

  • Direct inbound or outbound logistics operations, such as transportation, safety performance, or logistics quality management.
  • Planning routes and load scheduling for multi-drop deliveries.
  • Allocating and recording resources and movements on the transport planning system.
  • Ensuring all partners in the supply chain are working effectively and efficiently to ensure smooth operations.
  • Communicating effectively with clients and responding to their requirements.
  • Reconcile daily trip performance reports with the tracking system report
  • Managing drivers and all their related road activities
  • Developing transportation relationships.
  • Engaging with government agencies within and around business environs.

Qualification and Key Competencies

Job Title: Branch Manager

Locations: Apapa-Lagos, Edo, Rivers

Objective

  • Responsible for achieving the branch targets for major items (i.e. commercial vehicle & construction equipment) and after sales (i.e. service, tyres & spare parts). Also to manage human resources in the branch.
  • The purpose of a branch manager is to develop and maintain branch business to their full potential and to ensure profitability by setting and achieving/exceeding targets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Increase branch profitability by achieving / exceeding monthly targets for Major items/Spare Parts and Service
  • Coordinate the branch activities and establish individual targets within branch objectives
  • Ensure that all quality and operational standards are maintained at the company’s expectations and implement new procedures, according to requirements
  • Develop market for new business lines – Major items and others
  • Develop rapport with Key corporate customers, financiers and government agencies
  • Track and measure performance of staff
  • Build team at the branch level for achieving the Organizational goals
  • Manage sales, after sales (workshops), spare parts and act as human resources manager at the branch
  • Submit monthly updated activity status report to the Head of Sales for discussion and for the preparation of action plan and RRI’s (Rapid Results Initiatives)

Qualification and Key Competencies

  • HND / B.Eng. in Mechanical Engineering or related degree with an MBA
  • Minimum of 10 years strong Engineering experience (Specialization in Commercial Vehicles will be preferred)
  • Problem solving skill and team spirit.
  • Product knowledge & skills to handle technical problems, warranty issues.
  • Ability to assess customer needs and determine what products or services would best serve their interest
  • Ability to guide & train others.
  • Good communication skills both verbally and in writing.
  • Computer skills: Microsoft Office Package

Job Title: Spare Parts Sales Manager (Trucks & Heavy Duty Equipment)

Location: Apapa, Lagos

Responsibilities

  • Secure orders from new and existing customers for commercial and heavy duty equipment spare parts, with emphasis on sales growth.
  • Coordinate with sales team to develop and implement parts sales plan.
  • Manage daily activities of sales team to meet sales objectives.
  • Maintain an accurate and effective parts inventory control system and management to avoid surplus and obsolete stocks.
  • Carefully generate reports of stocks, anticipated orders and sales reports.
  • Responsible for carefully anticipating customer demand and placing required orders to the manufacturing supplier.
  • Maintains customer contacts, sales opportunities, sales call planning, and sales forecasting in the CRM system
  • Provides continued improvement in sales coverage and effectiveness to develop key areas and markets

Qualification and Key Competencies

  • B.Eng. / HND in Mechanical Engineering similar engineering background.
  • Minimum of 8 years cognate experience in an automobile sector.
  • Basic understanding of financial principles relative to parts department operations
  • Must be a highly creative, imaginative, motivated merchandising and sales oriented person.
  • Experience in warehousing system
  • Passion for Inventory Management and all aspects of inventory operations.
  • Knowledge and experience in the automobile industry.
  • Good communication skill both verbally and in writing.

Job Title: Safety & Patrol Officer

Responsibilities

  • Monitor, note, report, and investigate suspicious persons and situations, safety hazards, and unusual or illegal activity in patrol area.
  • Provide for safety by maintaining order, responding to emergencies, enforcing motor vehicle in accordance to standard practice.
  • Evaluate complaint and emergency-request information to determine response requirements.
  • Investigate traffic accidents and other accidents to determine causes and to determine if a crime has been committed or statue violations were involved

Job Title: Service Engineer

Locations: Apapa-Lagos, Anambra

Description

  • This position serves as a company technical and administrative representative, field engineer and deals with service assignment including on-site preventive maintenance and inspection service work, call-out services and commissioning activities on regional trucks within our fleet.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee routine and ad hoc maintenance on new and existing trucks to ensure schedule fleet operations are not interrupted.
  • Keeping up to date on administrative responsibilities such as maintaining customer service logs and internal service records in a timely manner
  • Maintaining daily communications with customers to ensure resolution and proper follow-up
  • Estimates cost of repair and prepare itemized work order, listing costs of parts and labor.
  • Basic troubleshooting, installation, maintenance and repair on designated equipment
  • Oversee the repairs and maintenance operation for all vehicles in line with budget.

Qualification and Key Competencies

  • HND, Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering field
  • Minimum of 5 years’ hands-on working experience as a service engineer on heavy duty trucks
  • Experience diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electromechanical, and/or electronic equipment.
  • Resourceful, with the ability to work independently.
  • Analytical and supervisory skills
  • Proficient level of computer skills including MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook
  • Must have a valid driver’s license
  • Auto engineering skills
  • Communication and interpersonal skill

Job Title: Workshop Manager

Location: Apapa, Lagos

Responsibilities

  • To coordinate all workshop related activities and ensure availability of trucks.
  • Ensure workshop procedures & systems are known to all staff and strictly followed during repairs on vehicle as well as maintenance documentation.
  • Continuously monitor repair time & repair quality and ensure the KPI (MTTR & RFTR) targets are achieved.
  • Ensure customer focus oriented culture among the team and maintain good relationships with customers.
  • Ensure workshop facility, equipment & tools are adequately maintained and available in ready to use condition.
  • Facilitate the training and development of team members in the department, by providing feedback and coaching to support improvements in their job performance.
  • Review customers service orders and inspect the quality of repairs before the release of vehicles.
  • Provide technical advice to team members, analyze and interpret data.
  • Ensure the workshop observes all warranty process conditions
  • Guiding & motivating productive staff to improve productivity & efficiency.
  • Monitor and control workshop expenses.

Qualification and Key Competencies

  • HND / B.Eng. in Mechanical Engineering (Specialization in Commercial Vehicles)
  • Minimum of 10 years strong Engineering experience with an established Commercial Vehicle Workshop (Trucks specifically)
  • Perfect knowledge of Auto Trucks.
  • Problem solving skill and team spirit.
  • Product knowledge & skills to handle technical problems, warranty issues.
  • Ability to guide & train others.
  • Good communication ability both verbally and in writing.
  • Computer skills: Microsoft Office Package
  • Valid driver’s license
