We also provide secondary and pre-secondary tutorial services through IDMANN Academy. All our courses are offered online in live sessions with seasoned instructors.

Job Title: Administrative Assistant Location: Nationwide
Job Description
  • As the demand for our services has grown, we are looking to hire an Administrative Assistant to support our expanding operations.
  • This role will support the Academic Directorate in general administrative including interfacing with students and parents (via telephone), supporting research projects to meet specific objectives, data entry, and other general administrative duties.
  • This is a remote function and will not require a commute to an office.
Requirements Successful candidates will be expected to have prior experience working as an executive or administrative assistants, preferably in an educational establishment. The ideal candidate will have most, if not all of the following:
  • Superior organizational skills to handle multiple tasks and overlapping responsibilities, all while working remotely.
  • Exceptional writing skills as well as good facility with social media and other communication tools.
  • Outstanding verbal presentation, especially on the telephone.
  • Demonstrated ability to support a geographically disperse (virtual) spread of colleagues would be a significant advantage.
  • Access to reliable broadband internet connectivity and a functioning laptop or desktop to enable effective operation
  • Prior (or current) experience as a teacher, instructor, or practice supervisor/manager would be advantageous.
  • Prior experience teaching or learning using an online platform. (This would be very helpful.)

Job Title: Social Media & Digital Communications Assistant Location: Nationwide
Detailed Description
  • As the demand for our services has grown, we are looking to hire a Social Media & Digital Communications Assistant to support our expanding operations.
  • This role will support the management team by creating timely, appropriate and engaging social media content for our students and prospective trainees, as well as running email, online and other outreach campaigns as needed.
  • This position will require clear and ongoing understanding of all aspects of our operation in order to provide proper and effective digital media presence.
  • Successful candidates will be expected to have prior experience working as executive or administrative assistants, or as social media assistants, preferably in an educational establishment.
Requirements The ideal candidate will have most, if not all of the following:
  • Superior organizational skills to handle multiple tasks and overlapping responsibilities, all while working remotely.
  • Exceptional writing skills as well as good facility with social media management tools (Buffer, Hootsuite, etc.), email marketing, as well as online advertising.
  • Fundamental understanding of web analytics, with demonstrated facility with at least one web analytics platform. Attention to detail with a knack for reviewing, analyzing and operationalizing data from web analytics.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with a geographically disperse (virtual) team of colleagues.
  • Access to reliable broadband internet connectivity and a functioning laptop or desktop to enable effective operation.
  • Prior (or current) experience as a web analyst, social media manager, online sales associate or similar online market-facing role would be advantageous.

Job Title: IT / Applications Support Specialist Location: Nationwide
Detailed Description
  • As the demand for our services has grown, we are looking to hire an Applications Support Specialist to support our expanding digital infrastructure. This role supports the online systems and applications that underpin the operation of the organization. Internally, this position supports the IT needs of employees and students by maintaining existing systems and infrastructure. Externally, it drives the identification and deployment of emerging digital technologies to facilitate our training and tutorial activities.
  • Successful candidates will be expected to have prior experience in an applications support or web administrator role (preferably in an educational or tutorial establishment).
  • He/she will be expected to bring first-hand knowledge of the IT systems (LMS, SMS and synchronous tutorial platforms) used in an online educational enterprise. Facility with the LAMP stack will be vital in this role.
Requirements The ideal candidate will have most, if not all of the following:
  • First-hand experience supporting or managing the IT function in an organization.
  • Ability to drive the internal functions as well as interface effectively and seamlessly with external vendors and application developers as needed.
  • Ability to support the staff in the organization to ensure seamless use of the digital infrastructure.
  • Demonstrated ability to support a geographically disperse (virtual) team would be a significant advantage.
  • Access to reliable broadband internet connectivity and a functioning laptop or desktop to enable effective operation.

Job Title: Language Instructor - Igbo, Yoruba; Haitian Creole, Jamaican Patois, Swahili (IDMANN Summer Camp - Online) Location: Nationwide
Job Description
  • The IDMANN Summer Camp provides middle and high school students an outstanding educational experience in very small groups.
  • The program not only provides tutorial support in Mathematics and English Language Arts, it also includes modules in public speaking, money management, foreign languages, and group research. To learn more about the program, visit the IDMANN Summer Camp web page.
IDMANN Academy is looking for instructors in the following subject areas (from 6th to 12th grade):
  • Mathematics
  • English Language Arts
We are also looking for instructors in the following personal development areas:
  • Public Speaking
  • Financial Management / Personal Finance
  • Technical Writing / Research Methods
  • Foreign Languages (Arabic; Chinese (Mandarin); Creole (Haitian); Hebrew; Yoruba; Igbo; Patois (Jamaican); Russian; and Swahili.)
Prospective applicants should note the following:
  • Instructors should expect to be engaged approximately 10 hours per week.
  • The engagement will end in August when students begin to return to school.
  • There is a strong likelihood that outstanding instructors who wish to continue teaching may be extended into the school year with appropriate adjustment in the teaching schedule.
  • We expect instructors in the core subjects (Mathematics & English) to have a teaching certification OR prior experience teaching middle school and/or high school. (A combination of a teaching certification AND demonstrated experience (> 3 years) teaching in a middle or high school would be ideal.)
  • Prior experience teaching online or familiarity with an online teaching engagement is critical in this position.
Requirements Intending instructors MUST have ALL of the following:
  • A reliable laptop or desktop, equipped with a good quality webcam and microphone, keyboard and mouse (or touchpad), as no instruction will be permitted over a handheld or mobile device.
  • Stable, reliable broadband internet access.
  • Space from which to provide daily instruction to students, free of distraction or intrusion during class sessions.
  • Availability five days a week (at specific times to be preset by the class timetables).
