Job Title: National Sales Manager

Location: Lagos

Job Summary

  • The National Sales Managerwill be responsible for developing and executing high-impact sales strategies to drive market expansion, revenue growth, and brand penetrationacross Nigeria. 
  • This role requires an experienced sales leader with a deep understanding of the FMCG industry, particularly in snacks, peanut butter, cheeseball, and mayonnaiseproduct lines. 
  • The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership, strategic planning, and business development skillsto enhance sales performance and maximize profitability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a national sales strategy to achieve business growth and revenue targets.
  • Lead, train, and motivate regional sales teamsto drive performance, ensuring targets are consistently met.
  • Oversee pricing strategies, promotional campaigns, and trade marketing initiativesto maintain market competitiveness.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure alignment between sales strategies and brand positioning.
  • Build and strengthen relationships with key distributors, retailers, and modern trade partnersto expand market presence.
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis, identifying trends, opportunities, and potential risks.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 – 7 years in a senior sales role, preferably within the FMCG sector(Snacks, Peanut Butter, Cheeseball, Mayonnaise, or related categories).
  • Deep understanding of consumer behavior, retail dynamics, and modern trade distribution in Nigeria.
  • Strong ability to negotiate high-value contracts, manage key accounts, and foster strategic partnerships.
  • Ability to interpret sales data, forecast trends, and implement growth-driven strategies.
  • Proven track record in leading high-performing sales teams, managing distributors, and driving national sales growth.

Salary
N450,000 - N500,000 / Month.
