Technology Distributions Limited (TD) commenced business in May 1999 as the pioneer ICT distributor in West Africa and currently represents HP, Microsoft, APC, IBM, Dell, Cisco, D-Link, Huawei, Lenovo, Zinox, Infinix, Tecno, Nokia, Bosch & Samsung.

As the first manufacturer-accredited local distributor for the sub-region, TD, with the support of the OEMs, successfully confronted the myriad challenges posed by the hitherto unstructured market.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: MIS Executive

Locations: Lagos (Oshodi, Oyingbo, Yaba, Iyana Oworo, Ketu and Gbagada)

Job Duties / Responsibilities / Accountabilities
Develop and Maintain Organization Network and Databases:

• Responsible for creating and managing the various databases used in the organization, which requires proficiency with database management software. Also responsible for maintaining network connectivity for the various machines used within the organization.

Ensure Stable Operation of Organization’s Network and Database:

• Responsible for developing and implementing the first line of defense against critical malfunctions by creating consistent schedules for updates and functionality tests, and then implementing these schedules through their team.

Implement Software and Security Updates:

• Protecting proprietary data, and data of the organization’s customers or clients.

Troubleshoot and Fix IT Issues:

• Diagnosing the root cause of critical IT issues, and formulating a repair strategy.

Manage IT Staff:

• Responsible for delegating tasks in a way that doesn’t sacrifice efficiency by having knowledge of team member’s strengths and weaknesses.

Staff Work Tool:

• Readiness of new staff working and communication tools (Laptop, Phone & Email configuration).
• Timely response and effective resolution of IT related problem (Dynamic, Printer, system administration and so on).
• Dynamics management and support -Development and Implementation of system user guidance and instructions.
• Effective investigation and Implementation of New Technologies/Innovations that aid staff productivity.
• Prompt processing and payment of IT and communication related bills (Airtel) and Team management.
• Other tasks as assigned by your Line Manager.

Qualification / Experience

• BSC - Minimum qualification (Computer Science and Information System Management)
• Experience: 2 years
• Knowledge in Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Ms Office is key.
• Candidates must reside in the named location.
