Job Title: Mechanical Fitter

Location: Aro Ere Obafemi Owode, Ogun
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Description

  • Troubleshoot, repair, and conduct preventive maintenance on Electromechanical Equipment, Pneumatic/Hydraulic Systems, Electric Motors, Pumps, Screw Feeders, Mixers, Boiler s, Gas Generating Plants, Diesel Generator
  • Ensure that the team abide by safety regulations, keeping equipment in check to avoid mechanical hazards that could cause harm to others.
  • Prioritize daily work orders according to their level of importance to meet deadlines.
  • Implement a total planned preventive maintenance program which follows the manufacturer’s instructions and established procedures as designed.
  • Inspects Mechanical systems, equipment, or components to identify faults, hazards, defects, or the need for adjustment or repair.
  • Improve daily mechanical maintenance work to minimize breakdown and downtime.
  • Maintain an up to date records related to work performed by the team including uncompleted task, leftover materials/spare parts.
  • Perform any other assignment by unit head.

Requirements

  • Candidates should possess HND / B.Eng Degrees with 5 - 10 years relevant work experience.
  • A strong working knowledge of technical training, fault finding, and troubleshooting techniques is a must.
  • Good understanding of mechanical machinery and instrumentation processes.
  • Ability to interprete Mechanical and instrumentation processes.
  • Ability to effectively prioritize completing needs and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to travel at very short notice.
  • Good communication (Written and Oral) skills.
  • High level of personal responsibility and accountability for results.

Salary
N120,000 - N150,000 Monthly.
