Job Title: Materials, Corrosion & Inspection Personnel
Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers
Employment Type: Contract

Job Description

• Provides subject matter technical assistance to field operations and maintenance personnel in matters regarding cathodic protection, protective coatings, material selection, corrosion inhibitors & biocides, corrosion data management, construction techniques, and testing procedures for the prevention and control of corrosion will provide consultation on specialized area related to corrosion control and Cathodic Protection and provide consultation and guidance to the other Corrosion Engineers and the gas organization as required in this area of expertise 
• Evaluating corrosion mechanisms while testing, designing, evaluating, installing, documenting, and maintaining corrosion control systems and providing required record keeping
• Utilizing the established Corrosion Coupon database to record, monitor and evaluate internal corrosion data for ensuring 100% compliance.
• Manages the development, implementation and maintenance of internal corrosion testing procedures.
• Establish test procedures and requirements in order to validate corrosion mitigation solutions when necessary.

Requirements

• Bachelor's/Master’s Degree in Civil/ Chemical/ Mechanical Structural Engineering or related field.
• Integrity management in oil and gas projects.
• Inspection of traditional techniques (UT/radiography / visual) and advanced techniques

Software:

• Microsoft Office suite.
