Description
- Marketing Manager Provides direct support by assisting the team in growing store sales, improving marketing Execution and building local marketing capabilities.
- This position will successfully meet these objectives by partnering with operations teams in analyzing local marketplace/business/consumer trends, developing annual and long-range marketing plans, developing new market/store opening plans, developing product innovation plans and ensuring execution of all marketing programs adhere to the brand standards.
- This position plays a key role in championing local market needs, driving support of those needs with the broader organization and delivering business-building solutions to address those needs.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
- Leads marketing strategy via the development of annual and long-range marketing plans to drive increased sales by driving awareness, trial, average spend and purchase frequency/loyalty. Leverages successful marketing plan elements/programs from international and local markets as well as recommends new marketing programs to meet the evolving needs of the brand and improve the effectiveness of marketing plans.
- Leads marketing and operations teams in the development of annual and long-range product innovation plans to drive increased sales. Leverages successful product development to improve menu effectiveness.
- Develops and supports marketing efforts in developing marketing materials/artwork or localizing materials to support marketing/product programs.
- Assists International leadership team in conducting periodic market business reviews to improve Franchisee effectiveness and profitability, Primary Support for New Market/New Store Openings
- Support the Sales and Events team and 3rd party agency partners in developing new market/new store opening plans to drive brand awareness/affinity and ongoing sales. Leverages learnings from other Markets/competitors to improve the effectiveness of opening plans.
- Leads local development of marketing materials/artwork and localizing materials to support opening activities.
- Develop and align local opening plans and marketing support materials to ensure adherence to brand standards.
- For new markets, works with other departments to plan and define opening programs including doughnut varieties, beverages, collectables, signage, store design, pricing, POP and other stores/opening support materials.
- Develops marketing/product calendars and marketing support materials to ensure adherence to the brand standards.
- Leads local execution of product innovation plans including assisting with product ideation, reviewing product options, liaising with Corporate resources to support local development and approving all new products.
- Leading partnerships and relationship management with corporates, partners, influencers and organizations.
- Develop local Store Marketing programs/events to support the annual marketing plan and drive awareness of key marketing plan elements outside the store.
- Conducts periodic market reviews to evaluate the effectiveness of opening marketing programs and makes recommendations to management on how to improve programs for future openings, responsible for Adherence to Standards and Procedures in Nigeria
- Shares marketing best practices in local markets with partners and international teams. Regularly evaluating the effectiveness of marketing programs, documenting results and sharing key learnings through huddle sessions and International meeting Calls.
- Identifies opportunities to improve efficiencies of marketing programs, reduce costs and increase profitability.
- Works with principals to continually build local marketing personnel's capabilities and skill sets.
- Conducts agency reviews, establishing agency performance criteria and evaluating agency performance.
- Ensures proper execution and adherence to brand strategy and brand standards.
- Develops Franchisee marketing materials and approves with Management and Operations to optimize communication impact and effectiveness of materials.
- Assists in Building a “Standard Marketing Community” that Promotes Shared Learnings, Values, and Partnerships between Partners/Franchisee Markets and Builds the Capabilities of local Marketing Teams to Improve Regional Efficiencies and Drive Increased Sales/Profit for the company.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree / HND in any discipline from a reputable Institution.
- Experiences/Knowledge/Skills: (What experience brings success to this role)
- Minimum of 5 years’ Brand experience.
- Proven ability to develop brand and marketing strategies and communicate recommendations to executives.
- Experience in identifying target audiences and devising effective campaigns.
- Applicants should have at least 5 years experience in a food service industry
- Brand awareness - a clear understanding of brands and the marketing mix.

Salary
N400,000 - N650,000 gross per month.
