A leading independent Oil Exploration and Production Company in Nigeria requires the services of experienced and dynamic candidates for the position below:
Job Title: Manager, Well Completion
Location: Nigeria
Responsibilities
- Prepare necessary regulatory reports, equipment performance reports, routing engineering reports, and well production tests.
- Must be capable of representing the company at regulatory arid government agencies’ meetings.
- Champion the enforcement of standards and procedures to ensure a safe operational efficiency
- Ensure company’s compliance with all regulations from relevant regulatory agencies
- Coordinate well surveillance operations/study and recommend optimal completion strategies flow rates for new and producing wells.
- Maintain and analyze production data as well as required records for day-to-day production operation.
- Diagnose, troubleshoot and solve well-completion problems and recommend appropriate solutions to meet campaign expectations.
- Design and prepare detailed completion, work-over, stimulation, horizontal production philosophies, and jetting in unloading procedures of wells.
- In-depth knowledge of production, facilities, and well engineering.
Minimum Knowledge and Experience
- Must not be more than 50 years of age.
- Minimum of Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) Degree in a core Engineering discipline,
- A Master’s degree or equivalent will be an added advantage.
- Must have worked in a managerial position for at least 8 years in a reputable E&P company arid overall E&P experience of not less than 15 years.
- Must be capable of applying operational, engineering, and management principles to resolve problems and optimize hydrocarbon production enhancement opportunities.
- Candidate must be good In using petroleum experts’ MBAL/PROPSPSR/GAP software.
- Must be result-oriented arid committed to company goals.
- Must be very strong in general reservoir engineering, production optimization, well interventions, and workover opportunity generation interfacing with drilling and operations teams.
- Must have a proven ability to plan/lead projects and be able to work under pressure.
- In-depth knowledge of Production, Facilities, Well engineering and subsurface modeling,
- Must be competent to prepare and champion completion and other reservoir simulation /dynamic modeling, material balance, and other reservoir remodeling run to understand reservoir behaviour.
- Must have strong leadership, interpersonal and communication skills to work in a multidisciplinary and multi-tasking team in full field development planning execution and management.
Job Requirements:
- The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience in various aspects of hydrocarbon exploration and production activities in a shallow and deep offshore environment with extensive experience in engineering, production operation, workovers completion, stimulation, integrity, and held and components of the risk-based integrated network production model.
- The candidate must have a good knowledge of Operational and Technical Practices In an E&P company. He Is expected to have an in-depth knowledge of offshore / swamp drilling and completion. He must be able to lead multiple concurrent projects, work In a team environment, and be able to effectively communicate within and outside the company.
