Manager, SME & Online Channels at 9mobile


9mobile is a Nigerian private limited liability company. EMTS acquired a Unified Access Service License from the Nigerian Communications Commission in 2007. The License enables EMTS provide Fixed Telephony (wired or wireless), Digital Mobile Services, International Gateway Services and National/Regional Long Distance Services in addition to spectrum assignments in the 900 and 1800 MHz bands.

Job Title: Manager, SME & Online Channels

Location: Lagos, Nigeria

Job Summary

  • Execute 9mobile's Strategic Partners and specialized channel strategies, ensure proper execution of all specialized channel strategies and provide operational directives to manage the SME and channels business team.

Principal Functions

  • Develop account management plans for key major 9mobile Enterprise Strategic Partners (ESPs) and Specialized Channel Partners (SCPs) including retention, sales and revenue growth plans.
  • Develop sales strategy and plan for the SME and online channel
  • Plan promos and manage incentive issues for ESPs and SCPs
  • Manage the hiring and management of ESPs and SCPs nationwide
  • Ensure all allocated targets to channel are met
  • Ensure call plans are adhered to
  • Ensure maintenance of accurate database of all ESPs and SCPs
  • Allocate accounts/territories, targets to ESPs, SCPs and Account Managers for SME and Specialized Channel
  • Identify and recommend appropriate training interventions for ESPs, SCPs and Account Managers for SME and Online Channels
  • Discharge all administrative duties that will enable the seamless functioning of the SME channel
  • Carry out other assignments as directed by Director, Enterprise Segment.

Educational Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Social Sciences, Arts, Science or Humanities. M.Sc. or MBA will be an advantage
  • Excellent communications skills, good Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Microsoft word & PowerPoint
  • 6 - 8 years work experience with at least two in a supervisory role
  • Work experience in channel Management, distribution, Sales and territory Management Experience, Customer and Account Management.
