Maintenance Superintendent at the Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring Board


The Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring Board (NCDMB) was established in 2010 by the Nigerian Oil and Gas Industry Content Development (NOGICD) Act. NCDMB is vested with the mandate to make procedures that will guide, monitor, coordinate and implement the provisions of the NOGICD Act signed into law on April 22, 2010. 

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

 

Job Title: Maintenance Superintendent

Location: Lagos

Responsibilities

  • Applicants are expected to be responsible for ensuring that there is sufficient "bunker" on board, as well as managing and preparing further bunkering
  • The maintenance Superintendent will often be based offshore, overseeing rig operations.
  • The candidate will be directly responsible for leading the direction of the maintenance services department
  • Will be directly responsible for the reliability. availability, integrity and performance.
  • Must be an expert in oil field production plant and equipment management as well as operations.
  • Must have leadership experience and man management skills, qualified to stand in for OIM.
  • Must have previously worked offshore with a current understanding of the law.
  • Ensure optimum availability of plant equipment as well as day-to-day reports.
  • Supporting the OIM with the day-to-day leadership.
  • Focusing on the maintenance and services associated with maintenance.
  • Manage and ensure the quality of the data of CMMS, couch staff on the platform, looking at Improving technical capability and safety, continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Must be able to show a proven track record offshore as a maintenance lead supervisor or superintendent.

Qualifications

  • Candidates must possess a minimum of Bachelor's Degree or similar educational qualification in a relevant branch of Engineering or Engineering science from a recognised institution and must be a chartered engineer with a minimum of 8 years relevant
