Job Title: Maintenance Manager - PVC

Location: Lagos

Description

  • We are seeking to fill the position of Maintenance Manager - PVC who will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of maintenance and repair operations related to PVC equipment and machinery.
  • This role requires strong technical knowledge of PVC production processes, as well as leadership and problem-solving skills to ensure optimal equipment performance and minimize downtime.
  • The Maintenance Manager will be responsible for managing a team of maintenance technicians and coordinating with other departments to ensure efficient and safe operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive maintenance program for all PVC equipment.
  • Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance activities to ensure equipment operates efficiently.
  • Foster a culture of safety and adherence to company policies.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure effective communication and coordination.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings.
  • Analyze maintenance data and metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Coordinate repairs and maintenance to minimize downtime and disruptions.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, work orders, and inventory levels.
  • Stay updated with the latest PVC technology and industry best practices.
  • Lead and supervise a team of maintenance technicians, providing guidance and training.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in maintenance management within the plastics manufacturing industry.
  • Strong knowledge of PVC production processes and equipment maintenance.
  • In-depth understanding of PVC equipment.
  • Understanding of quality control standards and compliance requirements.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent communication and management abilities.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in the Production of Plastic injection mold machines and Maintenance of HAITIAN machines.
  • Experience in maintaining Recycling machines like the Washing line (Grace Machine), Extrusion line (Grace and Technova Machine), Fitter line (Grace Machine), and Grinding Machine.
  • Proficiency in maintenance planning and scheduling techniques.
  • Knowledge of preventive maintenance strategies and best practices.
  • Familiarity with safety regulations and procedures related to equipment maintenance.
  • Familiarity with environmental and safety regulations pertaining to PVC production and maintenance.
