Job Title: Business Analyst
Location: Nigeria
Department: Commercial
Reporting Line: Business Planning & Strategy Advisor, Regional Executive and Regional Sales Manager
Responsibilities
- The Business Analyst would provide support on business development activities across Nigeria and the Francophone region.
- The role would also involve providing support for bids in
English and French, ensuring that tenders are of the highest quality and
meet the objectives of the customer and our business to maximize the
number of new accounts won and existing customers retained.
- The Business Analyst will review and identify all requirements
of bid documents (RFP, RFQ, RFI, etc.) as well as liaise with the
various business units for appropriate input to support our sales teams
in the creation and submission of customer centric tailored, written
tender /bid submissions.
- In addition he/she will be required to measure and monitor
emerging bids and key business performance metrics and create reports
accordingly
- The role requires the ability to analyze market performance,
competitive landscape, and the generation of timely and accurate
data/reports that would aid in the identification and penetration of new
markets.
Specifically, Business Analyst will be required to:
- Use strategic planning to ensure constant alignment with the long term organizational goals.
- Support business planning and corporate strategy development efforts.
- Build and maintain key client relationships in order to grow
relationships and develop new accounts by presenting solutions to meet
business requirements in the region.
- Maintain an e-repository of agreements under review (including
but not limited to: prospects, clients, vendors, partners) and track
execution as well as subsequent application of agreed terms of
engagement.
- Document action plans arising from external meetings with
prospects, clients, regulatory agencies, vendor/partners and engaging
relevant teams to execute same within communicated timelines.
- Undertake desk and field based research in order to maintain
and increase personal knowledge of regional market trends, applicable
legislations and policies and leads for improved business development
and sales effectiveness in the region
- Support the end to end development and delivery of all tender
responses, managing stakeholders across our business to ensure delivery
within required timescales
- Support the Regional Executive and Regional Sales Manager in
developing the market in the region for Main One’s products and services
as well as growing it to its full potential by meeting and/or exceeding
specific growth and market share targets.
- Assist with the development and implementation of the Company’s business development and sales plan for the region.
- Support the Regional Sales Manager by assisting with the development of the necessary sales reports, plans, and market analysis.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration/Management Science or other relevant disciplines.
- MBA/Post graduate in other relevant disciplines and professional qualification will be an advantage.
- Minimum of 2-3yrs work experience in sales / business development /client acquisition.
- Candidate must be bilingual (French and English)
Demands of the Job:
- Ability to work long hours and meet tight deadlines.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision.
