We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Plant Engineer
Location: Ogun
Responsibilities
- Oversee electrical section of the plant
- Diagnose electrical problems on equipment
- Assemble, install, test, and maintain electrical or electronic wiring, equipment, appliances, apparatus, and fixtures using hand tools and power tools.
- Oversee all electromechanical maintenance
- Testing of equipment repaired with a view to ascertaining the repaired status.
- Proven ability to use diagnostic tools to diagnose electrical problems on equipment
- Ensure all equipment is working properly; complete all required reports timely and accurately; informs the right personnel of any problems that needs to be resolved.
- Ensure that all company policies as well as environmental and safety regulations are followed at all times.
- Testing of equipment repaired with a view to ascertaining the repaired status.
- Test batteries, fuel coolant and oil
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance
- Rebuild and repair gas compressors (turbochargers) used for forced-induction of head gaskets, seals, water pumps, catalytic converters, torque heads, belts and hoses.
Requirements/Skills
- HND/B.Sc in Engineering or successful completion of a two-year technical Electrical Trade school; NABTEB Or IIT
- Read electrical and mechanical drawings and prints
- Be able to troubleshoot electrical faults on machines and equipment
- Have ability to use electrical tools and instruments
- Proven experience as a plant engineer
- Knowledge of general maintenance processes and methods
- Basic understanding of electrical, hydraulic and other systems

Job Title: Plant Operator
Location: Ogun
Responsibilities
- Oversee the mechanical operations at the plant
- Carry out routine maintenance and repairs of machines and auxiliary equipment to avoid breakdown by following manufacturer's instructions and established procedures
- Ensure proper follow-up of the preventive maintenance plans on all company equipment.
- Daily planning and managing of plant activities.
- Inspect power plant equipment and indicators to detect evidences of operating problems and notify the Plant Manager of any issue that may arise on continued operation of equipment.
- Carry out efficient breakdown troubleshooting/fault finding of machines and equipment
- Carry out the documentation of maintenance parameters for plant improvement
- Manage projects using engineering principles and techniques.
- Evaluate mechanical and electromechanical systems by conducting research programs and making recommendations on best solutions.
- Provide technical advice and assess project requirements
- Measure the performance of mechanical components, devices and engines.
- Read design specifications and technical drawings on every equipment purchased before installation.
- Diagnose cause of mechanical malfunction or failure of operational equipment and perform preventive and corrective maintenance.
- Inspect mechanical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair and to ensure compliance with codes, risk assessment, safety and quality procedures
- Conducting machine/equipment audit at intervals to ascertain their operational efficiency index.
- Ensure minimum downtime to Power Generation
- Carry out all other specialized functions to meet the on-going need of the organization.
Requirements
- Minimum of HND/Bachelor's degree preferably in Mechanical Engineering or related field with verifiable practical experience
- Be able to troubleshoot mechanical faults on machines and equipment
- Have ability to use mechanical tools and instruments
- Strict adherence to health and safety at work
- Must be able to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be energetic and able to work with a team.
- Affiliation to professional bodies e.g. COREN would be an added advantage
