Job Title: Fleet Manager - Haulage
Location: Lagos
Job Responsibilities
- Supervise fleet Operations Clusters with oversight function on DVI/Quality Assurance team.
- Maintain comprehensive and accurate record of all vehicles at every point in time.
- Maintain routing contact / communication with all vehicle users/Drivers in all locations for regular status.
- Carry out Daily inspection of vehicles with detailed report on template and ensure issues are resolved immediately.
- Keep track records of escalations and resolutions.
- Attend to all requests from client and ensure issues are resolved promptly.
- Monitor submission of bills and follow up on payments as may be necessary.
- Report maintenance issues immediately to Maintenance team and HOP for instant response and resolve.
- Proper Management of all maintenance issues with Maintenance team.
- Vehicle servicing and service record.
- Minor repairs and record.
- Major repair and record.
- Vehicle claims and claim records.
- Ensure vehicle tracking devise in each vehicle is functional and follow up to ensure faults are rectified within the shortest period.
- Follow up with all vehicle documentations and renewals before due date.
Job Title: Driver
Location: Lagos
Job Description
- Map out driving routes ahead of time.
- Pick up clients or Employees from the place and time they have requested.
- Listen to traffic and weather reports to stay up to date on road conditions.
- Ensure regular car service appointments and report any issue.
- Schedule regular car service appointments.
- Adjust the route to avoid heavy traffic or road construction.
Job Requirements
- SSCE / OND qualification with 3- 5years of experience as a driver.
- A valid driver's license
- A clean driving record
- Familarity with GPS devices i.e Google map.
- Knowledge of Areas and neighbourhood.
- Ability to occassionally take weekend and night shifts.
- Ability to remain calm in stressful driving situations.
Job Title: Operations Manager
Location: Lagos
Job Description / Responsibilities
- As an Operations Manager working in the courier industry, you will be required to oversee day-to-day office management tasks, ensuring that all safety regulations are adhered to.
- Customer service is extremely important and in the role of Operations Manager, it will be your job to ensure service levels are maintained and customer satisfaction achieved.
- You will manage a team of people and it will be your responsibility to ensure all training needs are met and that performance is monitored and feedback provided at regular intervals.
- As a member of the management team, you will be expected to prepare, revise and submit reports, budgets and other documentation as required.
- The Operations Manager is responsible for implementing quality management and other regulatory compliance strategies inline with company policy.
Requirements
- Prior work experience is usually required to work in a job in operations management together with a sound understanding of the international/domestic courier industry.
- Strong organisational skills together with the ability to multi-task are essential.
- You must be able to demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of quality assurance principles, methods, design, testing and implementation relating to operations management.
- Excellent leadership and supervisory skills, together with strong interpersonal skills are essential.
- You must be able to problem solve and make decisions under pressure.
- An Operations Manager must have excellent written and numeracy skills.
- You must have competent IT skills and be aware and able to operate industry standard software used in Operations Management within the Courier industry.
