Job Title: HVAC Design Engineer
Location: Abuja
Reports to: Head of Design
Job Summary
- We are looking to hire a detail-oriented HVAC Design Engineer to join our organisation.
- In this role, you will develop sustainable building services designs on numerous major projects including commercial, residential, tall tower, Infrastructure and mixed-use developments.
- You must have strong organizational, leadership, communication and technical skills in order to take this role.
Job Responsibilities
- Run the finances of projects through the instruction of stakeholders.
- Coordinate all technical issues within and around projects
- Provide Mechanical troubleshooting and evaluation services.
- Reading design specifications and technical drawings prepared by other contractors
- Represent the company on all meetings and requests by the client
- Prepare conceptual designs, working and As-Built Drawings for projects engaged by MMIS.
- Manage and maintain client relationships and communicate with clients to explain proposals, present research findings, establish specifications or discuss project status.
- Develop and implement design and construction of assigned projects according to laid down specifications or standards
- Providing analytical and problem solving support, employing engineering skills, in support of business and quality improvement processes.
- Assist in the preparation of project proposals, bill- of quantities and documentation (Operating and maintenance Manuals)
- Advise and assist in obtaining patents or meeting other legal requirements.
- Maintain an awareness of trends, knowledge of the market and may also conduct research / market intelligence in the field of expertise.(Material sourcing and price Intelligence)
- Motivate team members as the need arises.
- Provide management and leadership skills, including some level of administration.
- Oversee the development and maintenance of team members’ competence.
- Confer with other Senior engineers, regulators, vendors and others, to plan and review projects,
- Make presentation at professional meetings further knowledge in the field.
Requirements
- B.Sc, B.Tech /HND or M.Sc. (or its equivalent) in Mechanical Engineering from a reputable and accredited higher institution of learning.
- Minimum of 3 years post NYSC relevant experience in engineering services with speciality in HVAC design.
- Proficient use of design/drafting software such as AutoCAD MEP, REVIT etc.
- Must be a registered member of COREN & NSE.
- Candidate must have previous experience in site management.
- Membership & knowledge of ASHRAE Standards and Guidelines will be an added advantage.

Job Title: HVAC/AC Technician
Location: Lagos
Reports to: HVAC Supervisor
Job Summary
- We are looking to hire a detail-oriented HVAC Technician to join our organisation.
- In this role, you will install, maintain and repair HVAC systems.
- The HVAC Technician will be skilled in cleaning, adjusting and repairing systems.
- The HVAC Technician will be responsible for air quality systems from installation to end-of-life by performing maintenance, warranty and emergency repairs.
- You must have strong organizational, leadership, communication and technical skills in order to take this role.
Job Responsibilities
- Installing, maintaining and repairing ventilation and air conditioning systems and equipment.
- Identifying maintenance risks on equipment.
- Diagnosing electrical and mechanical faults for HVAC systems.

- Experience and good understanding of VRF, VRV, rooftop units, and ducted split systems will be an added advantage.
- Good understanding of advanced principles of air conditioning, refrigeration and heating.
- Working knowledge of boiler systems.
- Proficient in balancing air and water treatment systems in line with HVAC protocols.

Job Summary
- We are seeking a skilled, reliable, efficient Quantity Surveyor to join our growing organization.
- In this position, you will assist QS team to estimate costs of construction projects, working with contractors, builders, and architects to provide the most cost-effective plans that meet high quality standards.
- He/she will work to minimize the costs of project and enhance value for money, while still achieving the required standards and quality.
Job Responsibilities
- Review architectural plans and prepare quantity needs
- Estimate quantity and costs of materials
- Assist in preparing tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities with the Project managers, design department and/or the client
- Negotiate with contractors and subcontractors
- Act as a liaison between clients and site managers/engineers
- Keep track of construction materials and inventory
- Identify potential financial or construction risks
- Advise clients on improvements, strategies, and/or estimated costs
- Prepare payments for contractors and subcontractors
- Document progress, materials, and reports on project
- Advise on property taxes, regulations, and local laws

Minimum Educational Qualifications & Professional Experience
- University Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Engineering or related field from a reputable higher institution of learning.
- Minimum of 5 years of direct experience in the construction/Engineering industry with a focus on Electromechanical, Firefighting, HVAC and plumbing projects.
- Professional certification such as Membership of the Nigerian Institute of Quantity Surveyors(NIQS),Quantity Surveyors Registration Board (QSRBN) and other Professional bodies will be an added advantage
- Project management Certification will an added advantage
- Health & Safety Certification will be an added advantage.
