Job Title: Offshore Construction Manager

Responsibilities
- To verify that the drawings and specifications provide adequate instructions for the work and advise the Project Construction Manager and/or Project Manager of any deficiencies or clarifications needed.
- To review, in co-operation with the Project Construction Manager and/or Project Manager,
- and agree the overall site programme for his area of responsibility including Sub-contractors; programmes.
- To identify any problem are as in the programmes, discuss with the Project
- Construction Manager and/or Project Manager and agree a solution.
- To ensure, before any work commences, that all items of material, equipment, scaffolding and tools required are available to avoid abortive and unproductive use of labour.

Job Title: Ware-houseman
Location: Rivers
Responsibilities
- Reports operationally to the Barge Superintendent and functionally to construction manager. Individual should strive to ensure that his warehouse meets all requirements listed in the warehouse check list. Ensures that personnel in the department receive the proper training and encouragement and are afforded the opportunity to grow and improve themselves in the area of warehousing.
- The Lead Warehouseman is responsible for the day to day operations and control of the warehouse advising the Barge Superintendent of any major problems.
- As part of this responsibility he must ensure that the daily transactions of issues, receipts and transfers are properly documented.
- His warehouse efforts must be centred around the DTE Warehouse Stock Status Report. This document should accurately list and describe all materials in inventory at the respective location.
- The daily issues, receipts and transfers must be posted to this document. A continual monitoring effort must be maintained to ensure that any errors listed in this report are discovered and rectified.
- To ensure that all stock is properly identified, tagged and grouped in such a manner that same is easily found and retrieved by the warehouseman, when requested by others.
- To ensure that the warehouse is maintained in a neat and orderly manner with locations clearly marked on all rows of items.

Job Title: Work Pack Preparator
Location: Rivers
Responsibilities
- This position prepares work packs detailing the tasks that must be carried out in sequence on the Brownfield Modification and Structural Repair Project.
- In defining the systems and limits, and system handover sequences are considered.
- Pre-planning the base work scope and a work breakdown structure, interacting with the strategic execution plan, from which work packs can be prepared. The work packs and job cards contain all that is needed to complete work that passes thorough testing and inspections for completion sign off.
- Responsible for the daily selection of both PM & Breakdown work orders for preparation following construction prioritisation guidelines

Job Title: Tower Crane Operator

- During construction mode will locate barge in a position most advantageous for the stalking on and welding of pipe.
- Monitors movements of all support vessels in the vicinity of barge during construction activity.
- Will be familiar with use of radar equipment.

Job Title: Radio Tower Operator

Responsibilities
- Responsible for operating and monitoring all Company commercial ship to shore communications via the appropriate means, i.e., VHF, HF, telex or Inmarsat, as well as Client communication, if so required.

Job Title: Offshore Construction Planner

Responsibilities
- Establish work scope, quantity and logical sequences in terms of engineering, manufacturing and construction disciplines relating to commissioning and decommissioning activities. Conduct field scoping to clarify scope as required.
- Create WBS structure, and work with PMT and project execution team in the development of work break down structure for progress measurement, scheduling, cost estimating and project control.
- Prepare and manage overall master schedule integrating work breakdown structure using scheduling software; Understand contractual matter, earn value method, familiar with scope management and change control.

Job Title: Mechanic Foreman

Job Title: Construction Superintendent

Job Title: Derrick Crane Operator
Location: Rivers
Responsibilities
- To operate derrick crane within its safe working limits.
- To observe condition of wires and report any broken strands, kinks etc., to his immediate Supervisor.
- To follow instruction, form designated Foreman on deck.
- Operate equipment to lift and move materials, machines, or products in many directions.
- Gives and understands common hand signals and connects to and lift equipment and materials safely.

- The AC Electrician reports to the Chief Electrician and has overall responsibility for routine electrical maintenance and repair of all AC systems.
- Installs power supply wiring for newly installed machines and equipment following electrical codes and blueprints.
- Connects power supply wires to machines and equipment and connects cables and wires between machines and equipment following manuals, schematic diagrams, and blueprints.

- The position requires a minimum of 10 years’ experience as a Chief Engineer.
- Should have wide-ranging mechanical experience with emphasis on operation and maintenance of heavy-duty diesel engine. Required to have working knowledge of boilers, water desalination units, deck and derrick cranes, anchor winches, and generators.

Job Title: Anchor Foreman
Location: Rivers
Responsibilities
- Assist the Barge Foreman in setting up the barge on work locations.
- Prepare anchors, pennant wires and different types of buoys during barge mobilization.
- Check the condition of the barge mooring system i.e. anchor winches and anchor wires, and report findings to the Barge Foreman.
- Plot anchor positions as depicted in the approved anchor pattern; in the absence of such a pattern, plan and plot positions with the concurrence of senior colleagues.
- Monitor the position of a barge during repositioning of anchors onto the seabed with Anchor Handling Tugs (AHTS) to ensure that the barge is well positioned through all phases of the lay operation.

- During pipeline operation will operate and maintain tension devices, conveyors, track shoes, davits, winches and hydraulic pumps.
- Will maintain equipment logs, barge ballast / fuel / oil / water inventories and reports.
- Follows a training and safety programme and attends regular safety meetings within his group.
- To carry out such tasks / duties which may be assigned by his supervisor(s).
- To be aware of mechanical equipment downtime implications.
Qualification and Experience
- The position requires a minimum of 7 years’ experience as a Barge Mechanic.
- Should have mechanical experience with emphasis on operation and maintenance of heavy diesel engines. Required to have working knowledge of boilers, water desalination units, deck and derrick cranes, anchor winches, and generators.
- Pipeline operation requires individual to be knowledgeable of hydraulic systems relative to the operation of conveyors and tension devices.
