  • Managing the day to day running of IBEDC's Customer Contact Centre and ensuring customer satisfaction through delivery of efficient and consistent customer services
Responsibilities
  • Assists in the implementation of IBEDC's customer service policies and strategy
  • Responds to customer inquiries, requests and complaints
  • Creates and manages customer log - database to monitor and track all customer issues and resolution
  • Prepares regular reports to unit lead based on pre-defined KPIs (response time; issue resolution; new accounts, etc.)
  • Executes the day-to-day operations of the unit and oversees call centre operations
Qualifications and Requirements
  • Good understanding of Electricity Distribution Business and the Power Sector in general
  • Knowledge of Utility Industries
  • Strong Customer Relation Management Skills
  • Good knowledge of Marketing & Customer insights
  • Good Interpersonal, Negotiation and Communication skills (Telephone etiquette)
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office suite
  • Minimum Qualification - Bachelor Degree
  • Required Experience 3 - 5 years

  • To ensure IBEDC post-paid customers are accurately billed in a timely fashion through the execution of the operations of IBEDC’s billing centers
Responsibilities
  • Captures inputs on meter reading from marketers across all BUs
  • Prepares customer bills based on meter readings:
    • Provides periodic reports supervisor on activities of the billing centres
    • Produces post-billing reports such as billing status and revenue analysis by tariff etc.; analysing and summarising data and trends
    • Ensures regular capturing and billing of unregistered customers
  • Ensures timely production and effective distribution of customer bills
Competence Requirements
  • Understanding of the business of IBEDC and related businesses in the electricity sector
  • Knowledge of billing /collection practices, procedures, and basic software in billing reconciliation
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office suite and relevant billing applications utilised by IBEDC
Qualifications and Requirements Educational Qualification:
  • A Bachelor's Degree in any related field
Desired Experience:
  • At least 2+ years post qualification experience in customer services or marketing of products and services
