Job Title: Sales Supervisor - Modern Trade
Location: Abeokuta, Sagamu, Ogun
Employment Type: Full Time
Job Description
- Achieve sales target of assigned Brands / Category and volumes
- Train Merchandisers to achieve their sales targets
- Motivate & drive sales team for target achievement
- Ensure coverage of the entire target market.
- Manage and coach the Merchandisers to ensure high product visibility in the area.
- Identify new Outlets, get the dealer-agreement signed and introducing them to the Area Sales Manager (Reporting Manager)
- Ensure product availability & product visibility throughout assigned territory
- Ensure stocks are allocated based on the payment limits and Trade Terms.
- Manage sales, collection and Merchandising in Modern Trade.
- Ensure collections are proportionate to the sales.
- Identify & liaise with the companyand customers on sales reconciliation
- Report any excess outstanding/defaults to the Area Sales Manager
- Periodic Identification and reporting of dented, damaged stock, expired & near expiry stocks to the Area Sales Manager.
- Prompt servicing the needs of the existing customers.
- Ensure stocks are shelved in FIFO norms.
- Keep up to date with competitors’ activities, new product launches, schemes etc.
- Risk management (ensure safety of all company’s stocks and assets)
Requirements
- Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree / HND
- Minimum of 3 years experience working in a FMCG ((Modern Trade) sales environment
- Strong business sense and industry expertise
- Good understanding of the market & competition
- Excellent interpersonal, and communication (oral and written)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a virtual team where open, collaborative communication is expected
- Exhibits personal traits of curiosity, modesty, achievement orientation, and conscientiousness
- A team player with high level of dedication
- Well-organized and responsible with an aptitude in problem-solving
- Knowledge and use of Basic MS Office Suites (Excel, PowerPoint and Word)
Job Title: Sales Supervisor (FMCG)
Locations: Akwa Ibom, Cross River and Enugu
Employment Type: Full-time
Job Description
- To maintain and grow sales and gross margin for the product range in line with company budgets and strategic plans
- To manage sales of the company’s products and services in defined geographical areas
- To manage existing and build new relationship
- Prospecting for new sales and opportunities
- Achieving growth and hitting sales targets by successfully managing available resources
- Designing and implementing a strategic business/sales plan that expands company’s customer base and ensure its strong presence
- Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needs
- Present sales, revenue and expenses reports and realistic forecasts to the management team
- Identify emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competition status
- Respond to complaints from customers and give after-sales support when requested
- Handle the processing of all orders with accuracy and timeliness
- Inform clients of unforeseen delays or problems.
Requirements
- Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree / HND preferred
- Minimum of 5years experience working in a FMCG sales environment
- Excellent understanding and vast experience of the terrain interested in
