The License enables EMTS provide Fixed Telephony (wired or wireless), Digital Mobile Services, International Gateway Services and National/Regional Long Distance Services in addition to spectrum assignments in the 900 and 1800 MHz bands.   • Coordinate the planning,analysis and design of multi-domain Information Technology solutions toengender a world class and extensible architecture providing platforms forsustainable business capabilities in a fast-paced telecommunications environment.
  • Responsible for the translation of business requirements into setof technical specifications for the selection, design and implementation fitfor purpose IT Solutions
Principal Functions
  • Coordinate the process fortranslating business requirement into technical specifications and ensuringalignment.
  • Coordinate the development andmaintenance of the roadmap of IT initiatives to deliver the target architecturefor the realization of extant business visions and strategies.
  • Responsible for the design offit-for-purpose solutions to solve business problems by facilitating designworkshops with key stakeholders with strong emphasis on business value, riskand on time to value.
  • Guide the evaluation ofsolution options, ensuring alignment with business objectives and establishedarchitecture principles & standards.
  • Support the establishment and enforcement of solution architecture principles and standards through theplatform of the Architecture Review Board and other architecture governanceprocesses.   Coordinate the activities ofthe Architecture Review Board.
  • Review and recommend ITsolution design proposals as prerequisite for solution build andimplementation.
  • Validate compliance toarchitecture principles at key development checkpoints for solutions indevelopment on the one hand and changes to those in production on the other
  • Responsible for businessprocess optimization and integration, covering enterprise applicationintegration and enterprise data integration (EAI & EDI) within bothinternal and external contexts
  • Enable enterprise agility i.e.facilitate quick response to market dynamics and adoption of new Develop andmaintain a roadmap of IT initiatives to deliver the target architecture for therealization of extant business visions and strategies.
  • Ensure all technical documentsrelated to a project are compiled in accordance with IT Architectural Policyand best practices.
  • Support the technologyplanning team in the definition of processes and frameworks for managingcapacity - infrastructure and application licenses.
  • Support the technologyplanning team in the production of capacity plans to proactively meet thedemand on the IT organization to ensure that the business is adequatelypositioned to respond to internal/external demand in a consistently efficientand effective manner.
  • Provide technical leadershipfor the implementation and integration of assigned IT projects.  Own assigned project technical deliverableand ensure delivery to acceptable quality standard
  • Facilitate and oversee thedefinition and testing of interfaces for systems integration within assignedproject.
  • Perform other duties asassigned by Head, IT Strategy Architecture & Enterprise SolutionDevelopment.
Educational Requirements
  • First degree or equivalent in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Computer Science/Engineering or othernumerate science.
  • Postgraduate/professional qualifications inrelated fields will be an added advantage.
Experience,Skills & Competencies:
  • Six (6) to eight (8) work experience, with atleast 4 years' experience as a Solution Integrator or Architect.  Must also have at least 3years' experience in a supervisory role.
  • Knowledge of Architecture methodologies,standards, frameworks and tools (TOGAF, ZACHMAN, UML, etc.)
  • Experienced in working with diverse teams of 5 ormore people in dynamic and rapidly changing environments.
  • Experience in multiple, diverse technology environments and domains including technical infrastructure, application development/management, middleware, database management, and operations.
  • Understanding of telecommunication business andtechnology model/architecture.
  • Understanding and experience across the solution implementation lifecycle.
  • Experience in planning, building andrunning telecom BSS/OSS and related platforms are an added advantage.
  • Very good conceptual and analytical thinking.

  • Support on all Operational transmission equipment, BSS equipment, Power equipment and DC plants, ConductPAT of newly integrated BSS, Power and TXM/ADM network element and facilitate99.5% Access Network availability.
Principal Functions
  • Facilitate the operation andmaintenance of Access transmission, BSS and Passive network elements to achieve network availability targets
  • Supervise change requestsimplementation, faults escalation, fault resolution and ensure TTs areaccurately closed within MTTR by NOC.

  • Perform effective monthly (DWDM, IPBBand HUB) sites supervision, spot check, external alarm simulations with NOC toensure non-functional alarms are fixed before next visit and checkmate vendor'sactivity to enhance Quality of Service and improve customer experience.
  • Checkmate to ensure colo vendors activities to avoid re-occurrence outages on DWDM, IPBB and hub sites.
  • Create fault trend analysis to trackand follow up with both active and passive vendors to mitigate and avoidre-occurrence outages on DWDM, IPBB and hub sites to ensure re-occurrenceoutages are cleared in assigned cluster
  • Facilitate resolution of community and landlord access related issues.
  • Generate incidence cluster report fornetwork outages on weekly and monthly report.
  • Liaise with Government Regulatory Department to resolve environmental, regulatory, States, Local Government andcommunity issues within 24 hours and follow up for permanent solution
  • Follow up for proper execution of approved CR within assigned cluster and escalate accordingly when activity isdeviated
  • Ensure timely replacement of faulty components on BSS, TX and Power equipment, weekly link alignment for MW linkswith deviated RSL as well as replacement of faulty fibre patch cord andsplicing on national fibre BB to avoid prolong outage and reduce MTTR
  • Operate and maintain hybrid &public power supply, manage fuel delivery and consumption, supervise andcoordinate DG and A/C replacement, BTS power optimization
  • Supervise, coordinate and ensure timely CAPEX replacement (DG, ATS, A/C, battery replacement and poweroptimization for Green Field as well as BSC/MGW sites). Also confirm and signoff JCC for the successfully completed tasks by both parties
  • Monitor and control power capacity utilisation and ensure optimal safe limits on generators, rectifiers, UPS, AVRetc. are not exceeded. Timely escalation of any capacity issue and recommendation for optimisation and upgrades is also required where necessary.
  • Prepare and present periodic reportson power availability and timely escalation of any serious issue that may negatively impact on network quality and availability.
  • Perform other duties asassigned by the Manager, Field Operations.
Educational Requirements
  • First degree or equivalent in Electrical Engineering

  • Ensure all VAS platforms have adequate capacity to support deployed services and implement commercial requirements based on business needs
Principal Functions
  • Support the planning and optimization of EMTS value added services (VAS) platforms and ensure compatibility and integration with EMTS existing infrastructure.
  • Support organization strategy on network virtualization from legacy architecture to infrastructure sharing architecture.
  • Assist in designing robust solution towards deployment of IoT services.
  • Develop business cases for fresh deployment/upgrade/expansion of solutions which are inputs to new and existing solutions to enhance capacity availability.
  • Network and build solid relationships with internal units and relevant third parties and develop a close working relationship with relevant information sources to provide an integrated service.
  • Assist in the design, implementation and evolution of VAS Messaging, Mobile data, WAP, GPRS, Multi-media products,etc.
  • Monitor the license utilization on all VAS platforms and ensure required actions are taken before license reaches the threshold.
  • Coordinate inter-functional relation to ensure synergy across the various departmental functions.
  • Prepare RFP document for any new VAS platform planned to be deployed based on commercial requirements.
  • Enhance the forecast mechanism for proper capacity planning of all the VAS nodes.
  • Co-ordinate the integration of new products as it affects USSD, IPCC, SMSC MMS and other network elements.
  • Participate in vendor selection process to ensure technical input is significantly covered
  • Liaise with the vendor/end users during the implementation project and facilitate proper handover of the deployed solution to operations team
  • Perform any other duties or responsibilities assigned by Manager, VAS Planning.
Educational Requirements
  • First degree or equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Electronic/Telecommunication, Computer Science or any other related science qualification.
Experience,Skills & Competencies

  • Demonstrate experience in Telecommunications & Mobile Network Standards
