We are looking to fill the below position:

Job Title: Drilling Cost Engineer

Location:
Lagos

Job Description

  • Ability to initiate plans for the improvement of company systems and procedures for cost control and manages approved development work.
  • Ability to operate and maintain detailed systems and written procedures for the control of CAPEX in excess of a certain amount per year that will satisfy the requirements of quality accreditation and periodic audits
  • Ability to maintain historical drilling and completion cost/expenditure records and data against which trends may be measured and estimates developed.
  • Ability to supervise the operation of the company's integrated project cost control systems and all other applications relevant to the cost function.
  • Ability to prepare and make presentations to JV Partners, management and project personnel on current project cost control methods and procedures.
  • Ability to support the drilling teams in formulating budgets for both corporate and external budget cycles.
  • Ability to assist the drilling department with the preparation of Authorizations for Expenditure ("AFEs"), particularly as regards developing realistic cost estimates for activity line items within each AFE.
  • Ability to review and process drilling invoices to ensure compliance with the commercial terms of contracts and correct coding of costs.
  • Ability to develop and produce cost reports for submission to the drilling team, JV Partners, and management and the corporate office to explain the drilling cost performance
  • Ability to support the Contracts & Procurement team in the contracting and procurement of drilling materials and services, ensuring that C&P activity falls within planned budgets and that drilling requisitions are coded correctly.
  • Ability to organize and participate in regular inventory/stock checks at all locations where drilling stock is held.
  • Ability to provide any and all necessary support during routine audits of drilling costs by corporate auditors, partners, and statutory auditors.
  • Ability to analyze cost expenditure reports; reviews project progress and makes recommendations to drilling engineers and supervisors.
  • Ability to prepare, evaluate and participate in discussions for cost variation issues related to specific projects and develops ways to address them and keep documentation for tracking purposes.
  • Ability to establish a routine system for actual drilling cost (field estimate) against any specific AFE estimation to efficiently monitor the AFE status and raise the red flag for AFE revision when needed and drive the process for supplementary AFE.
  • Ability to make contributions in recommending and initiating cost and budget control systems and related procedures.
Requirements

  • Minimum of 8yrs experience in drilling and completions, with at least 6yrs as spread evenly as drilling engineer operations, well cost/well planning/well contract engineer.
Desired Competencies
  • Excellent understanding of well operations, drilling contractor and rig activities.

Job Title: Personal Assistant

Location:
Lagos

Job Scope
  • Reporting to the Managing Director, the Personal Assistant will work with the leadership team and provide high level implementation support to the Managing Director.
Specific Job Roles
  • Give administrative support to the MD of the organization, Keep and maintain records, compiling data for reports, administrative tasks associated with the office of the MD, Manage board processes emanating from the MD - board papers, discussion papers, proposals and related tasks Schedule executive appointments and meetings
  • Prepare expense reports, prepare/edit executive presentations and make travel arrangements where necessary
  • Coordinate MD's administrative work within the departments and categories
  • Manage the MD's workload; act as gatekeeper and follow up meetings, external contacts etc.
  • Prepare the MD for all internal/external meetings.

Job Title: Data Analyst

Location:
Lagos

Job Description
  • A data analyst most be able to gathers, organizes, and assesses data from various resources in order to find useful information. Other tasks include using current economic or market conditions to project future trends and sometimes being involved in the research and development stage of a project.
  • Monitor and collection of data for the purpose of analysis.
  • Send and receive bulk data on a daily basis from various locations.
  • Coordination and supervision of field workers across various locations to ensure the quality, accuracy and timeliness of data collection.
  • Identify inconsistencies, correct, exclude or highlight suspect data received.
  • Identify relevant / related trends, to do follow up analysis and prepare visual representation using maps for better decision making.
  • Maintaining the database of data received.
  • Provide prompt assistance in the recruitment of field workers when needed.
  • Provide weekly report on the status of the various data collected from various locations.
  • Convey complex and accurate information to team members.
Qualifications and Experience
  • A Degree in a numerate discipline such as Statistics, Economics, Mathematics or its equivalent.
  • Master's degree and relevant work experience in operational research is an added advantage.
  • Ability to apply statistical methodology to complex data.
  • At least 2 years work experience.
  • Competency and Proficiency in using Microsoft excel and statistical software packages such as SAS or SPSS to perform advanced-data analysis.

Job Title: Accountant

Location

Job Scope
  • Ensure all accounting, financial documentations and reports are accurate, efficient, updated and on time.
Responsibilities
  • Must have a good knowledge of management accounting and perform activities with little supervision
  • Must have knowledge of Nigeria Tax systems
  • Must be able to reconcile bank statements etc
  • Accounting and financial record keeping and documentation.
  • Assist with cash management, accounts payable and accounts receivable.
  • Assist with monitoring the stages and progress of all financial transactions.
  • Assist with preparing and maintaining financial records for individual projects in a manner that facilitates management reports.
  • Assist with preparation of cash flow forecast.

Job Title: Senior Structural Engineer

Location
: Lagos

Job Scope
  • Ensure all accounting, financial documentations and reports are accurate, efficient, updated and on time.
Job Responsibilities
Participate to conceptual, basic studies and detailed engineering in the frame of Civil/Structural engineering-related modifications to existing installations:
  • Check and comment SMR File from Production Methods of Assets (brief description of modification request, existing facility as built information, clarification of scope of work, site surveys)
  • Participate to Site Visit.
  • Develop or validate facility sizing and document studies with Report or Memo.
  • Develop or validate for ECP Structural engineering documentation (Structural design basis, structural design reports, MTO, weight reports etc).
  • Review layouts.
  • Comment technical bids for Civil/Structural related items.
  • Coordinate closely with ECP Engineering disciplines and clients for design related impact of modifications.
  • Participate in technical reviews
  • Support Contractors (prepare Scope of Work-validate Civil/Structural studies by Contractors)
  • Support Development Planning of Assets for medium term production concerns and long term planning issues.
  • Liaise with Headquarters for interaction of new Projects with existing facilities.
  • Ensure compliance with internal and external HSE Regulations and Specifications
  • Ensure effective civil/structural design studies with efficient reporting to Head of Section.
  • Ensure effective and timely response to technical queries in compliance with set standards, company specifications and safety procedures.
  • Maintain accurate records and filing of Project files in a retrievable / exploitable manner.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.
  • Civil/Structural engineering design experience 15 years.
  • Proficiency with STAAD, Pro SACS and AutoCAD. Knowledge of NSO/ISYMOST will be an advantage.
  • Member of Nigerian Society of Engineers, Registered (Or in the process) with COREN.
